This is a violent movie, but not over the top. Excellent demonstration of the willingness throughout history of American servicemen to give their lives to save those unable to save themselves... something we should never forget.
So apparently 100% of parents and educators noticed product placement... What exactly are you talking about? Nothing of that sort as best I can remember.
Not a very good movie, I think it's too realistic. I'm used to action movies like Die Hard, The Matrix, or Hot Fuzz where the focus is not on the amount of people killed, or seeing how much gore you can fit into one scene.
Seriously... I don't know why CSM raged so much against this movie. I thought it was excellent. The action and the character development of AK was great too. Excellent film. Otherwise... As far as violence, not that much blood, holds back on the gore except for one scene where it shows a mutilated women with her breasts cut off and blood everywhere. That scene was very intense, but the only violent scene in the movie that bothered me. Also, the language is bad, but not constant. Maybe a dozen or so F words and a couple S words. It definitely has positive messages about caring and redemption. Up to you if your kids can handle the language and that one scene or not. If they can, great movie! Go see it.
Absolute knock out for anyone whohas had military service or a war movie buff. other adults may find it to be avaerage. kids should only watch it if the are mature or responsible. their is one 45 scene with a topless wwoman, other than that it has violence
I thought this was an extremely well done moving film sensitively dealing with a hot topic. It moved me to tears and I was caught up in the emotions of the characters. Violent of course but overall excellent.
