One of the best sequels of all time IMO.
James Cameron returns in this sequel, T2: JUDGEMENT DAY, and, just like another sequel he made, this is on my *unofficial* Top 10 Sequels of All Time. It has action, sci-fi, drama, with some comedy mixed in just for relief. It's special effects for the T-1000 were amazing at the time, and even for today's standards looks...alright. A lot of people say that he looks like gelatin or an ooze of some sorts. BUT THAT'S THE POINT! He's supposed to look like LIQUID METAL! DUH!! But, once again, it can get pretty violent. Not as gritty as the first, but a lot more violent. At the beginning, many soldiers are shot by machines. There is a bar fight at the beginning. A man is burned, another is stabbed, and many bones are broken. A man knocks out a police officer and takes his clothes and his car. Two men shoot at each other in a hallway. A truck explodes with a man in it. But the man melts into mercury and forms back into his human form. A woman's arm transforms into a sword-like weapon and stabs a man through a milk carton and through his mouth. She pulls it out and blood spurts. The T-1000 kills a dog and rips off it's collar, blood is seen on the collar. An officer is stabbed in the eye by the T-1000. A guard at a mental institute is hit on the face by a broom that was broken in half, blood spurts. Sarah Connor breaks a mans arm and puts a suringe in his neck that is filled with poison. She does not empty the poisen into him though. T-101 shoots an officer in the leg, he later fights officers in a hallway of a mental institute. In a deleted scene, Sarah Connor cuts the T-101's scalp to get a memory chip. Pretty violent. Sarah dreams about the world ending and things catch on fire. Sarah Connor then catches on fire and starts screaming. This scene is very intense. At Skynet Dyson is shot several times. Sarah Connor is shot in the thigh. T-1000 gets frozen by liquid nitrogen and shattered by a bullet. T-101 and T-1000 get in an intense fight. T-1000 terminates T-101. He then re-programs himself and comes back. T-1000 stabs Sarah Connor in the shoulder. She screams in pain. T-101 terminates T-1000 by shooting him until he falls into hot lava. You can see T-101's red eye, and the metal skeleton under his skin after the big fight scenes. T-101 lowers himself into the hot lava. And even though there's no sex, there IS this stuff: In the beginning, the T-101 is shown nude, but only his chest, back, and his butt is shown. Robert Patrick's character is shown nude and you can see his butt and his penis is visible very briefly. A guard at a mental institute licks Sarah Connor's face while she is restrained to a bed. You can see Sarah Connor's nipples through her shirt in the scenes while she's at the mental institute. When robert patrick's character is dying, he briefly morphs into a women and you can see one of her breasts for a few seconds. And language, 16 f-words(two being motherf*cker), 23 uses of sh*t, and numerous uses of milder profanities such as *amn, h*ll, *ss, b*st*rd, S.O.B, d*ck, b*tch, etc.; In the "Special Extended Edition," there are about 32 f-words, and each cuss word mentioned above is used more often. So, aLL-iN-aLL: Better than the first. Longer, too. It's more action-packed, has a lot more going for it, and is just an all-better film. 9.2/10. Go check it out!

Not as good as "The Terminator". This time, he gains heart and decides to help his original victim.
My rating: PG-13 for intense sequences of sci-fi action/violence and some brief language.

This is one of my favorite movies of all tgime and the only reason it's rated R is because sarah gets incenerated.

Not as graphic or good as the first Terminator film.
Although the violence is not as graphic (or often—now a lot of it's cheesy special effects that make the T1000 look like gelatin) as the original Terminator, there is a lot of surprising language to prepare for: besides around two to four uses of "f—k", John Connor repeatedly uses the term "d—k" and teaches the Terminator to call people "d—kwads"; and Sarah Connor uses the phrase "son of a b—ch" frequently when she's angry (eh, she's always angry). Not for younger kids.

Terminator 2: Happy Day
Now, this is one of those rare cases where the sequel is not only good, but BETTER than the original. It was so creative for its time, and 20 years later, it still hasn't lost its touch! There was also a little gimmick which I liked with this film. The gimmick was if you didn't see the trailer for the movie, or rather, even if you did see it, you wouldn't know that it's actually the other way around when it comes to killing John Connor. The T-800 sent back is actually there to PROTECT John, while the one who looks human and tends to act human at first is the one who is going to try to kill John. This movie is very interesting because at the time, liquid metal had never been done before, and therefore, it was revolutionary in effects. The plot doesn't falter either, with amazing battles and informative conversations. If you plan to see any of the Terminator movies, definitely put this on your list!

This was an awesome movie. The action and special effects were amazing. The only reason it's rated R is because of the violence. Probably for 9+ if they can handle shooting and robots going in lavas.

Better than the first
This sequal is much better than the first. They cut down on the sexual refferences and language but still a fair lot of violence. Fine for 15 and up. 4/5

sarah goes after Skynets creator and almost kills him. scenes of judgement day as a heat wave sweeps across the world. a character burns (but in her dreams) scenes of slow motion kids playing and then the exploision. sarah is sent to a mental hospital. plenty of uses of the F-word. the terminator kills himself. blades are stabbed through mouths and shoulders.

OMG! THIS IS AMAZING! And it helps to stop people stereotyping girls
I THINK THIS MOVIE IS EPIC! There is lot's of action and some violence. But most of the violence is to robots and all this robot violence and there are some funny scenes like when John Connor is trying to teach the robot to talk like other people like 'hasta la vista baby' and 'no problemo' also Sarah is so tough which is showing that girls shouldn't be stereotyped to hating mud and action. Also the Terminator protecting John would die for his safety so he's a good role model for kids too.

A 5-Star Action Film, and very good Sequel
This movie is AMAZING! One of the best movie sequels EVER! Got the first 3 Terminator films for my 12th birthday. It's even better than the first one, I reckon. The Acting is great, and the special effects are brilliant! This movie well deserved those Oscars it won. The violence is pretty intense; R- rated violence include a woman's(really the T-1000) arm transforming into a sword-like weapon where he/she stabs a man through a milk carton and through his mouth(she/he then pulls it out and blood spurts), an officer getting stabbed in the eye by the T-1000(again with the sword-like weapon), a guard getting hit on the face with a broom that was broken in half(blood spurts), a man( Mike Dyson) getting shot several times, and Sarah Connor getting stabbed in the shoulder by the T-1000. Most of the violence is PG-13 violence, with only a few PG violence. The language in this film is quite strong, and is mostly the reason why this movie got a R-rating; there are 16 f-words(32 in the Special Extended Edition), 23 sh-words, and other mild profanities. In the Special Extended Edition, most of the profanities are said more often. I would recommend this movie to people 12 and over. Overall, it's a very good 5-star film that I definitely recommend. One of the best action movies ever made. Enough said!

The Terminator 2
I'm tempted to believe that this movie is aimed at children, just because the protaganist John Connor is only twelve years old. When one ignores the over-the-top violence and the profanities, it has a couple of good messages, including not allowing corporations to take security into their hands and avoiding civillian casualties. There is one part where Sarah Connor attempts to kill Miles Dyson in order to prevent judgement day, but the morality of her decisive action is relative to the individual, I personally believe that it was justified because I believe that the end justifies the means.
