    Bone chilling comedy

I liked the movie. I found some real cool movies for kids on youtube. These are the BEST I've ever seen and they keep adding a new one each month. These movies were made by a 16 yr. old. Check em out at: http://www.youtube.com/user/ManikaMovies

A Must See for Each and Every Johnny Depp Fan!

Corpse Bride is a sheer brilliant film since The Nightmare Before Christmas! The guy is about to be married but things get out of hand and he has to try again another time. Things are going wrong, dead wrong...when he is accidentally married to a Corpse Bride!

    Very artistic.

Visually stunning and great acting , I'll be renting Nightmare before Christmas again to compare the two films. Many of the scenes with dancing skeletons remind me of the art I've seen depicting the Mexican "Day of the Dead" holiday. My favorite scene is the piano duo between Victor and Emily.

It was very funny, only a little bit was scary. My sister says "It was cool!" My mom has never seen it though. She wants to see it.

    What was I thinking?!?

I took my 6 yr old son to see this movie. He enjoyed it but I didn't. It felt creepy and weird with a very strange storyline. I would not recommend wasting money on this one. We will NOT be getting the dvd. It was just too strange for my personal taste.

    Whimsical and morbid, but innocuous

I took my four and ahalf year old to see this and he was fairly entranced and not at all spooked. The interspersing of musical numbers keeps this moving along - tho some of the dialogue between figures can wear thin fast. But at 75 minutes running time, this is a cinch. The entire movie is dark - but so are all 3 Potter movies we've seen. Some overly-macabre scenes include an early graveyard/forest scene whener the corpse bride is encountered, and the scene where Victor descends below for the first time. Other than that, many laughs for adults as well as kids...the worm steals the show (just like the Penguins in 'Madagascar'!)

This was a spectacular movie. although I watched it when I was very young, I never thought that I would be saying this, but after watching t a few nights ago, there are some parts that a child wouldn't quite understand.

    little kids will get scared.

i liked this movie a lot.It contains scary parts that kids 5 and under should not watch.Theres also a scene where a skeleton briefly smokes and you see other skeletons with beer bottles and they do a very scary dance.(it is clearly a bar.)mild suggestive humor is the only other problem.

One of the Spookiest Animated Movies I have ever seen!

The movie is cute, but spooky. Wouldn't reccommend for any younger than 9, unless your child (and/or brother or sister) is VERY mature for his/her age. It's spooky, but cool. I was a very mature seven and I loved this movie, as well as my friends of the same age. My sister, however, who is aging normally, was seven last year and this movie scared her to death. The reason I put "Too Violent" was because it is spooky. I reccommend this to all audiences of 9 and up and make sure this is on your Halloween Playlist!

    Good movie!

It was a very well done movie, much funnier than I was expecting. I don't recommend it for any child who's scared of skeletons or zombie-like creatures, no matter how funny they are.

dark story about love and light

this is a sweet, heartfelt movie with characters that you can totally sympathize to. there are some little scares, but the dead turn out to be a whole lot friendlier then the living! very sweet movie for older kids and up!

    I want a soundtrack!!!

The ending brought unshed tears to my eyes. The music can go from jolly to magical. The songs are catchy. The animation is a feast for the eyes. The plot is smart. It's darkly funny. And it leaves you with something to think about. It's not that scary. My little sister who is eight years old never even flinched. It's strange because when I was ten, The Nightmare Before Christmas gave me the creeps! She can sit through CSI: Miami without squirming! (I'm watching Corpse Bride as I write this. What perfect timing!) Me, being a musical person and an art person, love this movie and most of Tim Burton's movies. Highly recommended for most audiences!

One of my all time Favorites!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This movie is sooooooo awesome! Tim Burton's second best masterpiece(Charlie and the Chocolate Factory is of course the all time number 1)! Everyone in the world should gosee this movie if they are over 9!!!!!

Simply one of the best movies ever!

This movie is wonderful! My second favorite movie of all time. (Second only to "The Nightmare Before Christmas" and "Edward Scissorhands".) I find that people tend to believe that this is a "Goth" movie....what?!?! IT IS NOT! I am tired of people thinking that Tim Burton is a "goth". He is a genius. His movies have a darker theme than "Cars", but that is what makes them wonderful! See this movie!

    Eh...just an okay movie

Tim Burton's Corpse Bride was entertaining but very weird and sometimes a bit too gothic for my tastes. I liked Nightmare Before Christmas alot better, it was funnier. This was still a good family movie though, for kids 10+

    A Typical Tim Burton Film

I REALLY enjoyed this movie. The Stop-Motion was amazing, it looked almost computer animated. The movie has a solid story line and a great cast. Like most Tim Burton movies, "Corpse Bride" is a little dark and has things like skeletons and maggots and stuff like that. But this movie shouldn't be a problem for anyone over 7 or 8.
