Fun movie perfect for anyone.
Toy Story is one of the best movies of all time. I've watched it so many times, I've memorized it. ALL OF IT. There's basically nothing to watch out for and is perfectly suitable for all people, but there are some hidden adult jokes:
* Bo Peep says to Woody: "How about I get someone else to watch the sheep tonight?" Which, uh...I'll let you figure that out, k?
*Mr. Potato head takes off his lips and puts them on his rear, symbolizing the word kiss-***.
*At one point Potato head and Hamm(a piggy bank) are playing battleship, and when Hamm sinks a ship he asks for Potato head's nose, which is basically "Strip Battleship".
*Woody says, "The word I'm searching for, I can't say-because there are Preschool toys around" implying he wants to cuss...
*Potato Head says "Son of a Building Block!" in one scene.
----------But seriously, I criticize this movie too much! The movie is perfect for ANYYYONNE! It's funny even for adults, and when you actually get the jokes, it's even better. The story centers around Sherrif Woody being replaced as the favorite toy by Buzz Lightyear, a Space Ranger action figure who doesn't believe he's a toy. The two toys develop a rivalry until they wind up in the house of Sid, who tortures his toys. They have to work together to break out before Andy moves to a new home, and the movie is great on the traits of friendship and working together. If you haven't watched this movie, do it. NOW.

One of my favorites
I've watched this movie sinse I was little, 'really' little. It was always one of my favorites, and honestly not much of it scared me, except for the toys Sid 'created'. It makes you nervous when the toys are in a bad situation, like being stuck in Sid's house for instance and getting chased by a dog. Dispite some of these things, the movie is great for the family. My brothers watched it to the point that it distroyed the DVD (This was around when they were 2 and 4) I don't think it's as terrifying as some make out, but it depends on the child. The humar is great, the parol is exciting. Woody can be bossy, and they accuse him of being Buzz's murderer later on. It's pretty torturous. Still though- I rest my case by saying it's a good movie.

I saw this movie a little bit before Toy Story 3 came out, and was blown away. I had never expected anything this good. It's very well done, and extremely sweet. So good that I voted 'yes' to do it for our middle-school play. Watch this movie if you want to laugh, cry, and have your heart warmed.

Pretty scary but Awesome!!!
Wonderful movie! I used to watch it all the time when I was a baby. Some toys Sid messes around with may be scary. Theres no swearing but lots of name calling language like "stupid" "idiot" "shut up" "dumb" and other language. My brother hates it but it's ok if he does not like it because I already saw it a billion times when I was a baby.

The Creepiest G Movie Ever
This is probably the creepiest G rated movie in the world. The whole movie had a creepy feel to it and violent. When I was a kid, the scene where the toys stand up to Sid scared the crap out of me. Woody's a jerk, too. This movie should've been rated PG because some little kids are probably scared of this movie.

good kids movie but youngers may find it scary
Toy Story has to be one of the best movies I've ever seen. Every moment is engaging, and the characters are all charming. I would say the second one is better, but they're both great! Younger kids may be scared of Sid's room and what he did to the toys. Also Woody tries to get rid of Buzz so that might be kinda scary. Woody and Buzz don't get along well at first, but they learn to appreciate each other in the end.

This was a very funny and imaginative movie because it told the life of a toy and his friends and how he got jealous. This was definitely a story that needed 2 sequels and definitely deserves some gratitude. You should see the third!

Any parent who hates this movie is STUPID!!!!!!
Toy Story is violent? The minimun age needs to be 8? You parents are stupid (no offense). No matter what show you watch you hate it. If something as harmless as Toy Story looks like it was made by the devil, then just ban Tv and watching movies for the rest of your children's life. Why are you being so sensitive and stupid????

Okay violence isn't really violence no blood and all still can live.Language those 3 words are in a lot of movies I've seen so some of you overreact.Oh well I guess I could say this was a fun movie but sometime you might get bored of it so don't watch it too often.

The Best!
This is one of the best kid's movies of all time. It's happy, exciting, sweet, and gentle. I totally recommend this. One of my favorite movies. Great for almost all ages. Nice job Pixar!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

BEST MOVIE EVER.
Toy Story is a classic! The animation is amazing for the time it was made, the story sweet, and the morals are good. The characters are flawed (which is fantastic for movies.) Woody is terribly insecure but doesn't show it, he's threatened by Andy's new interest in Buzz, and is just scared he will lose the boy he loves. Buzz is a bit delusional, and when he discovers he isn't a space ranger, he is distraught. In the end, they both see that friendship is the most important thing.
I caught one iffy joke from Woody's love, Bo Peep, who said "Why don't I get someone else to watch the sheep tonight?" Woody laughs nervously.
