There was too little clothing in this movie (Megan Fox= Not a good role model!!). It ruined it. I do think the graphics were well done. Overall; I loved it, I will probably watch it again, but a little more clothing would have made it a more respectable movie in my eyes.

Talk about a massive disappointment. We saw the first TF movie on the big screen and own it in our home collection. When this one came out we were very excited to see what the Robots in Disguise were up to. While I realize the movie is rated PG-13 it is so heavily marketed to the kids who play with the toys. The sex and the language were such an offense to the fanbase. Really - who was this film intended for ? As an old-school TF fan, I didn't enjoy the film. As a parent, I squirmed my way through it. Sadly, my dollars will somehow reinforce that this is the sort of film that Hollywood should make when it comes time to talk about the third movie. Battling robots is one thing. Some sexualized fembot crawling all over the protagonist... Robots and humans dropping language bombs left and right... Really, Michael Bay - thanks for an uncomfortable evening.

A movie that is a waste of your time and money!!!
My wife and I have five kids from age 12 and under. This is a horrible movie. The language and the sexual content is not for young viewers. There are just to many hidden negative messages for young viewers. Granted I did not make it through the whole. The movie is just horrible from the start. And I couldn't waste anymore of my time. I'm grateful I previewed the movie before allowing my kids to see it.

Horrendously bad. Illogical. Waste of time and money.
This movie was horrendous and the director should be banned from ever working again. The sound mix began with FULL VOLUME METAL CLANKING and continued like that for two+ hours! Ugh! And the logic was nonexistant. Maybe once we might believe that some lucky kid could outrun a supersonic gang of robots. But a dozen times back to back? It was loud, ridiculous and a total waste of film. Bay is BAD!

hated it!!! I feel bad because both my 7 and 5 yr old boys want to see it but i am unable to do that due to the language that is used by the transformers themselves. The first movie they were good, but this one the autobots use more fowl language than the humans in the movie do.

Interesting comparison of human stupidity with alien wisdom; amazingly not for kids
Amazingly not for kids. The violence is rampant, and core to the movie's message. The computer graphics are kind of fun, and I personally found it amusing to watch our frail humanity depicted as small and stupidly compliant when compared to aliens who want to help us.

I thought that it was a great movie. I let my kids watch it even though I wasn't too satisfied with the sexual content displayed. The kids caught on to that really quickly and that was the first part that they told their grandmother about!

Unfortunately it made billions, so we'll see a third one.
If you're a parent of a 5+ year old and somehow managed to keep him from making you go see this movie in the theater, my hats off to you. Let's cut to the chase here. The first one was good. This one is horrible. First of all I believe this movie should have been titled Humanformers because transformers are barely in it. The language was horrible. The title character of Prime was an executioner and face-ripper fetishist, 1 hour too long, and Megan Fox oiled up and sexy is not something my 6 year old needed to see. Avoid this movie if you can. If not, have the DVD remote handy so you can skip sequences. Or better yet, stick with the first one. It's at least watchable.

We took our kids to see this movie thinking the first it was great, they love the first one and watch it over and over again... well, i regret taking them to this one. i have a 7,5,3 year old kids... let me tell you that i think it was worst for the 7 year old than for the younger ones.. they was putting to much attention on the action but my 7 year old daughter focuss more in the part were Sam and the girl (robot) were in the sexy scene.... she talk about that scene for weeks after.. hmm they dont rate movies PG-13 just for nothing.... sometimes we need to know that not just because is cool or other kids see it we have to let our children watch that stuff if is not apropriate. My husband and I really like it , we need to see it again by ourselfs so we can relax and watch instead of having to be distractive to our kids in some scenes...

It was an OK movie that is better to rent, but i took my 12 year old and he was just fine with the sexual content and violence and the language, but the language kind of got to me. I knew my son would never use it, but it was a little explicit.

Shock Value Sex
If they had just left out the sexual stuff, this would have been a much better movie. It does not add to the movie, just gives "shock value" for the "laugh".

I LOOOOOVED the movie; for myself. But was sickened by the sexual behavior in the movie for my children. My 5yr told me thier favorite part was when the dogs humped each other. Because everyone laughed in the theater. That is just cheap disgusting humor in my opinion. And although the concept of Sam and Mikela's lasting relationship through distance and trails was sweet and well displayed. The decipticon, disguised as a gorgeous horny peer that mounted sam and demanded he have sex with her was too much sexual exposure for young children. Yet another movie that depicts a males role in society to be ignorant disrespectful horndogs. And females to be judged by sexual promiscuity. The movie would have still been just as interesting without the explicit sexuality.

I had a date night with my husband. We did not take our son but saw children, some very young, in attendance. This movie is just plain horrible. Terrible. Worthless. I like a good action movie but this was a piece of junk and not even remotely appropriate for kids.

Folks, this is a typical "summer" movie..we arent talking academy awards here. That being said, I was abit surprised at the language(and not just the D word or the S word, but the P word and I think the F word was in there as well) and sexual inuendos. My husband and I would look at each other each time one of them came up like "WOW!".. But the bigger wow came after the film was over, when my 8 year old son said to me "Mom, I know there were some bad words in that movie..but I know those arent right to say, so dont worry, Im not going to say them." I was terriably proud of him. We've since seen it a second time, as we all like the transformer movies. I say, know your kids folks. My son cant even remember the "bad" words from the movie, he just remembers the cool robots and cars. We treat him maturely and hes not let us down. Violence..no more so then iron man,IMO. YOU as the parent might see it first and make your own descion or aire on the side of caution and dont let your kids see it. I put Iffy for 8+ as it depends on the child, in my opinion.

It Was Okay...
I thought that this was a pretty good movie. There were a few very unneeded innapropriate parts, (i.e. the dog part) and Megan J. Fox wears little clothing in almost the whole movie. I watched this with my 10 year old brother, and some of it went over his head. There were a lot of battles and explosions throughout the whole movie. Altogether, it was a pretty good movie, and of course, the special effects were great.

Yes this is Transformers movie you know the first one you took your little 6-7 year old too well this one you'll be dragging you teens to. Very BAD. The pacing was inconsistent and disastrous, the acting was mid-range, the plot wasn't cohesive, and there were surprising sight gags in there. Avoid as much as you can.

More amazing and dazzling than it's predessor!
This sequel is so better than the predessor transformers. More images that will frighten children under 9. one of the main chacters dies in middle of movie. More senusal jokes and references in this one than the last. Plus more langage which makes this one more iffy than the last. Great sequel!

It was so disapointing! Everything seemed to get killed including the greatest role model in the movie (which is Optimus Prime), the language was so strong I did not get through the whole movie, and the content was terrible too. The movie is terrible, skip it

This movie is just terrible. I loved the first one, but this movie is just awful. The only reason I gave this two stars is because of the effects, which were impressive, but this wasn't enough to redeem this movie. There's too many explosions, cleavage and language, and the movie is just plain dumb. Save your money for something else.
