This film is okay, but all of the scares rely on pop-out scenes and loud noises. This film is actually kind of boring. There is some violence including one stabbing, and some sexual talk. The unrated version features a sex scene between Casey and her boyfriend.
The truth is it wasn't that bad at all. Most kids 12+ would eligible to witness this media production. sexuality and drinking are higher up, but most media is worse then this movie. It has scary content not advised for children 11 and younger. Violence is higher up then other things but it is a horror movie and thats whats to be expected. there is very little blood. This is a good movie for teens 13+.
The movie was a little slow especially after I seen it while it was being shot on some scenes overall good story line ...the old unborn movie came out in 1991 some cliches were taken from this one special effects were on point but overall not enough blood but part 2 was setup rather nicely.
I love this movie.
unless you are the parent who tries to hide sex from your children then this is fine.
they just say i know what were gonna do tonight.
thats it.
5 stars
Horryfying movie
Love it
One of the worst movies i have seen since The Spirit (which was pretty bad) but this was just dumb and not scary at all (like most horror movies these days). Dont waste your time
It's not a bad movie for tweens or teens. They use (3) curse words, "BS", the 'F' word and the 'S' word. They use a sexual reference word of "wood." There is an "implied" sex scene where you see the girl lying on her boyfriend's chest after it has happened. There is a kissing scene, little tongue, very unnecessary though. Also- the girl is seen at least 3 times in her boy leg brief panties and pajama top; again, unnecessary, she could have thrown on some pajama pants. Lots of jumpy scenes for the girls to scream at. Fun and interesting storyline to follow. Does talk about evil entities, ghosts and superstition. A "know your child movie." I am a very strict parent when it comes to my children seeing movies which is why I or my husband has to see them first before we allow them to go with their friends. The youngest age for movie is a mature 13 yr old but if your child is questionable, 14 yrs old would be better. Definitely not a movie for we adults. I think it may bore adults. Much too frightening for younger kids. Graphic pictures and picture distortion all throughout the movie.
OKAY--the movie STUNK big time. It was NOT scary at all. It was so BORING the people in front of us started talking and no one in the theatre cared because their conversation was more interesting than the movie! There is a scene in the movie where a very old woman (so old she lives in an assisted living center) is being chased down the hall by a demon and she is hobbling!!! How scary can a scene be when it a old person is barely hobbling and the demon can't catch her??? seriously. MOST of the scary scenes in the previews were taken from NIGHTMARES the main character has. I don't know about you but other peoples nightmares do NOT scare me. The filming was done in the "B" movie low-budget fashion, meaning it looked like somebody filmed this for a school project. The dialogue was not very good either. Definitely written by an amateur. The audience started talking back to the movie like we were doing a MST 3K spoof. I had thought that since Michael Bay (Transformers) produced it, it was going to be non- stop action and thrills. But it was more like non-stop yawns and snores. NO ONE who was in the theatre liked it. As we were exiting the theatre everybody was commenting how bad the movie was. I won't even recommend renting it.
If I could give this movie negative stars it would be at least a -5
A good idea but terrible execution. The Unborn was a completely predictable horror movie; you could see plot turns from a mile away. A few unnecessary sexual jokes that weren't funny. Poor acting, poor script. I'd recommend this movie to genre fans, but otherwise, don't waste your time on this one.
