S*x: This was a little edgy to me. Phones*x and talk of teen s*x and some naked men (only covered by guitar or some object). Sometimes my mom would say during s*xual convos "You didn't hear that." and I'd wink at her and go "Hear what?"
Violence: A woman gets pretty violent at a "I Hate Valentine's Day" party, but that's as far as it gets.
Language: "h*ll", "d*mn", "b*tch", and "sh*t".
Commercial Products: A man asks a woman if she has a Facebook.
Drinking/Smoking: At the "I Hate Valentine's Day" party, the adults drink wine.
It was a sweet movie, but I would say pre-teens and up.
It's a great movie for 12/13 year olds and anyone who loves a romantic comedy. I would not reccomend it to any one under 12 because some things are a little risque for them
This is definitely not a kids movie. Even if they are mature enough to handle the subject matter, there are some crazy parts with Anne Hathaway (whom I LOVE!) because she works as a phone sex operator. Those convos should be pretty nasty to younger people. Also, I don't think that kids will necessarily have the life experiences to fully appreciate the dialogue between characters. I'd recommend for 17 and up.
Really funny movie! Had some sexy stuff in it including when one of the characters waits for his girlfriend to come home in her room naked playing the guitar. It is really funny but as you can see, it is rated PG-13. (: Good luck!
Way too much inappropriate activities for young teens. Lots of unmarried sex, teenagers planning their first sexual experience--I was very, very disappointed with this movie. Taylor Swift's portrayal of air-head teenage girl was hilarious, though.
The movie was disjointed, predictable, and not that funny. The movie was more pathetic than funny. We love Gary Marshall, but Georgia Rule was a far better quality movie even though it did not get the credit it deserved.
This is definitely not a kids movie. The little boy in the movie was more obnoxious than entertaining. Bad casting. Even though this movie was loaded with A-list actors they were mostly unremarkable. Very dissapointed in most of the acting. I would give this movie a 45/100. Wait for the DVD.
Simply put, this movie is boring and was a big waste of my two hours. There are too many characters to care about any of them, and only one or two that I even liked at all. Skip it!
valentine's day is a great romantic comedy movie however there are some brief partial nudity and a few sex talk about how teens are gonna do it there's also some strong language used and also some Social drinking by adult characters the message is about relationships, dating, and honesty.
Movie was great. Filled with romantic and hilarious scenes. Watch this movie if you haven't seen it already. But want it for free? Get it free just by filling out a few surveys on the website below

Depicts too much casual sex between unmarried young people, presenting it as an acceptable norm. Plus, the acting is atrocious, boring story, no redeeming artistic value.
My 16 year old daughter saw it and didn't really like it, so I was not too excited to see it but was dragged with a group of friends. I was pleasantly surprised (going in with low expectations helps!) I guess a 16 year old just doesn't have the life experiences to understand the love shown in this movie. I thought it was touching - esp. the Julia Roberts/Bradley Cooper story lines.
