A great, convincing movie.
This is a great movie. WATCH IT! The plot is about a detective called to investigate strange behaviors of a woman who seems possessed. One of my favorite movies ever! If your over 12--it's a great movie. If you're under 12, you might not understand parts.

Brilliant!
Alfred Hitchcock is definitely an amazing man. His movie Vertigo is indeed to be remembered as a classic. This movie is not very violent if at all, and despite some intense moments and high suspense, Vertigo is a highly recommended movie. Enjoy the twists.

cool movie, but dont get me wrong: It isn't the total suspensful Hitchcock perfection I was expecting to see :(
what I mean by "not perfect" is I would expect a lot less sloppy of a movie, coming from a producer like Alfred Hitchcock. It was good. I think it would have been a whole lot better without the mushy gushy and I know thats immature for someone of my age, but I have to say that the movie was good until after the death, and then the movie started to seriously fall apart and fail. If I hadn't intended on writing this review, and I was in a movie theater, I'd have left the theater. But I also know that given the idea I couldn't have done better myself. But hey, I'm a critic, so that gives me rights? LOL Anyways it is a little viloent (a woman and a man fall from a rooftop and die) and there is sex (A LOT of making out). And it will give you nightmeres, I gurantee you that.

Complicated but rewarding
No blood or gore being a psychological thriller, but it can get really weird and complex. The acting is great, and so is the climax of the film, it definitely keeps you on the edge of your seat.

A Beautiful Hitchcock Masterpiece
This late 50's Hitchcock film is truly a beautiful piece of movie history. This thrilling masterpiece is like a magnificent piece of art that only the great Hitchcock could make. But this film may contain some material that may disturb younger children, and is a bit lengthy which kids may get a bored toward the middle of the film.

Great thriller
This movie is a fabulous psychological thriller, but it's not for kids. I seriously thought it was going to give me nightmares, but luckily I'm not a movie-gives-me-nightmares sort of person. It was very well done and actually I really liked the second half, even though many didn't. Be warned, this isn't the best movie to watch at night by yourself. Not that there is violence or scary images, it has lots of dark scenes and suspense. And James Stewart, phwooaarr, I love him in all his movies!!!!
