I really liked this movie. It has good jump out at you scenes and suspense. There is some violence at the end but children who are over the age of 11 and want to see this movie should be able to handle it if they like horror films that'll give them a good scare.

This remake takes the beginning of the first film and expands it into a great remake. This film is so much better than the original, even though the trailer gave away the surprise, it's still a great thriller that still delivers great "jump" moments. It's very much like a Hitchcock thriller, even though Alfred would never give the shocking ending away.

It was good, not very scary.

This movie is great! it's a great sppoky horror tale without gore that keeps you at the edge of your seat every second you watch! Due to some violence, terror, thrill ,and suspense with some language but no gory or bloody scenes i would recomend this to everyone ages 13 and up!

It was a great movie!!! I loved it, but it is supposed to be a scary movie, and it was quite gloomy. I think it is on for mature 11 year olds, because some people might be scared seeing bloody-bags, bodies, etc. But, otherwise, great suspenseful movie!!!!

Although this reamke i hear is almost exactly the same as the 1979 version it still is really good. At first i thought this movie was going to have lots of blood and gore but to my surprise it didn't. When a stranger calls leaves almost all terrifying things to your imagination. The beggining of this movie movie was a little slow but that really helped to build up suspence and drama. AWSOME MOVIE! GO BYE IT NOW ON DVD AND VIDEO!

First off,I thought my brother would be scared by this bcuz he freaked out watching the remake.we saw with my dad in the basement and he was laughing throughout.i gotta still remark that this is pretty disturbing due to reality and fact that it could happen to anybody.its just an urban legend and folk tale,but I wonder what you kids would do if some guy just rings your mum in the middle of the night and she traces the call to be inside the house.
