I love this movie... it's a movie that basically makes fun of horror movies. It's hardly scary for anyone about 8 and up, and it's a movie to get everyone laughing.

This is not your average Mel Brooks movie. This is obviously his best film, but it is NOT scary. It DISTURBINGLY FUNNY!!!! This is the best comedy I saw. My two favorite scenes are the ones with the blind man and the meeting with BLUCHER!!!! Nieghhhhh! It's hard to believe that some people think that this movie is stupid. Don't be shy, rent this movie now! One of the movies strengths is great humor, hardly any language, hardly any violence, and the fact that is the biggest spoof of horror movies. And I thought this was scary! It was lucky I made myself watch this.

I watched this with my seventh grade English class last year and it wasn't funny nor scary. It was DISTURBINGLY funny and Not scary in the least. I loved it and I think every one else did too. We didn't stop laughing for the entire time and the Algebra teacher even came in once and told us to can it because we were disrupting her class. The only time I've ever laughed harder was during Scream 4.... Maybe I didn't, I don't remember
