This is a disgusting movie. No parent should allow their children, of any age to see this. I wouldn't even suggest that adults see it. I have only seen clips of this movie, but what I saw was revulting. Using sex as a way to get money is deplorable, but this movie proudly uses the concept. I am angry that this movie was even produced. This is the kind of filth that corrupts our children and teenagers.
When I saw the title, I was expecting something a sex comedy with a serious undertone, like "Knocked Up". What I got was a love story dressed in sex comedy garb. Honestly, if you have a male-female friendship, do you really think you can find out your true feelings by having sex? No, you find out by having a serious conversation. Of course, the shock factor of nudity (which wasn't even in the movie) and intimacy with a friend can make feelings come out, but generally, it's very naive to think that sex will help you find out how you feel. The movie sends a naive message that doesn't hold true in today's world.
And one word of warning: if you have a platonic friend, don't see this movie with them. It'll be too weird.
This was a hilarious movie, but it's (as the title might hint at) FULL of sexual content. The main turn of for me in the language (f-ck doesn't concern me) are the words "n-gger" and "c-nt" -- mainly because of their general negative use. Like I said, obviously, there's lots of nudity -- one scene of male and female full-frontal nudity each -- and a couple shots of topless women. (although not as many as Crank 2). Plenty of product placement, mostly names though. A fair amount of drinking happens with references to drinking to the extreme. Obviously there's bad role models -- lots of sex for the sake of sex without talk of contraceptives -- but there's also the idea that if you put your mind to something, you can do anything.
WHAT THE THE HELL!!! Sorry for my language this movie is HORRIBLE! I was watching this movie with my girlfriend and we both thought it was terrible it was full of : sex, language, non funny jokes, and hard drinking throughout the movie the worst I have ever seen!!!!!
just got this movie for free using prizerebel (prizerebel,com/index.php?r=2489758) it's a cute and funny movie, i enjoyed it but the nudity isn't probably suitable for the younger audience. probably wouldn't watch it again 6/10
This movie was terrific. Now some may disagree and say it was terrible and filled with sex. My reply: it has the word PORNO in the freakin title. I'm 15 and I saw the movie. What parents need to realize is that 1, if you have a son above the age of 12, he's seen atleast part of a porno. 2, if your kids are truly determined to do something, they'll probably get it done.
Realize that saying this movie had to much sex in it just makes you seem like an idiot. Going to see a movie that's rated R and has the words "Make a Porno" in it and then complaining about the quantity of sex is just stupid and so is anyone who does this.
The movie had a great story line and it was a very good romantic comedy. It was perfect for anyone who likes romance and romantic comedies, and has the maturity level of someone above the age of 12 and isn't a psycopathic moron looking for a reason to be upset.
oh my God! I can't believe anyone would let their kids watch this movie! All I have to say is FULL FRONTAL NUDITY both male and female, with unnessisary nude crotch shots in a strip club. Language was off the charts-vulgar! This is definately not a movie to let kids watch.
It may not be Smith's finest work, but it's funnier than the CSM review. There are several cameos in the movie that provide some of the most hilarious moments. I do wonder how closely the reviewer was watching since he wrongly criticizes two elements of the film. First, we do know what Miri does for a living. She works at a clothing store at the mall. She goes to work there early in the movie and brings clothes to try on for the reunion to the coffee shop. Second, there is a reason for Zack and Miri to have sex in the movie. The whole point of making the porno was to market it to their high school class. Zack specifically says those people would buy the movie to see their classmates in a porno. The fact that the reviewer missed the motivation for the movie's entire premise makes me question his overall opinion.
