Common Sense Note
Parents need to know that this song is a warning to a girl about a "playa" who's going to break her heart. So not surprisingly, there are some vague sexual innuendos in this first single from the upcoming Audio Day Dream, Lewis' first studio album post American Idol.
Families can talk about the careers of the Idols. Why have some done better than others? Why do some of the runner-ups seem to do better than the winners? Is there too much pressure to be a huge success once you've won?
Common Sense Review

Season six runner-up Blake Lewis has a bonafide hit on his hands. BREAK ANOTHA is a likable contemporary pop single that has already taken radio by storm, having originally been leaked to fans who signed up on a promo Web site. The radio-friendly single is different from standard Idol stuff, combining elements of funk and hip-hop to create a fresh sound that capitalizes on Lewis' enigmatic voice.
