What Parents Need to Know
About Getting Strong!
Parents need to know that this CD, part of the popular Wiggles lineup, is the first title in the "Wiggle and Learn" series, which features lessons on math, language, and health. This title, appropriately, is focused on health and physical fitness, as well as learning and literacy, though you wouldn't know that if Dorothy the Dinosaur (a recurring Wiggles character) didn't come on halfway and announce the topic change. There's a companion DVD, and it probably makes more sense to use them together, since on its own the CD, while fun in that classic Wiggles way, doesn't seem to impart much in the way of learning.

Families Can Talk About
- Families can talk about how being physical can be fun and why it's important to think about our health, even when we're kids. Different tracks feature favorite kid activities, like swinging on a swing and jumping rope -- kids, what are your favorite activities? Also, the second half of the CD has songs with foreign words. Can you identify which languages are represented by "hola" and "Yiasou" (Greek for "hello")?
