I need to get this off my chest first. As a very passionate fan of K-pop, I must say that I am EXTREMELY proud that 'Gangnam Style' made it this far. ='D I think his other song 'Right Now' is also gaining some popularity on Youtube too recently, just saying. Check it out! ^^ So when I first heard of this song a few days after it was released, I was honestly a bit uncomfortable with the usage of the word "sexy". Listening to the song around my parents was a no-no. But gradually the song quickly became famous worldwide, so now I'm pretty used to it. Parents, I would be a bit cautious with this song if you have any younger children lurking around. It was suuuuuuuper awkward hearing little kiddos singing "HEEEEEEY SEXY LADY~" while rollerskating couple of months ago. XD As for the MV itself...well, hoho. It's fun, refreshing, and definitely unique compared to the standard K-pop MVs out there which only showcases how good the idol groups can dance and the occasional awkward drama acting too. But then again, YG Entertainment has been putting up a lot of rather quirky MVs lately, like 'Crayon' by BIGBANG's leader G-Dragon! /bricked for going off topic/ ANYWAY. Despite the colourfulness in the video, there's a lot of suggestive parts that people do need to be aware off. Noh Hongchul's 'elevator scene' is a bit inappropriate to some level, but for me it's more humorous than offensive. There's also some butt-gawking, semi-provocative dancing (particularly from 4minute's Hyuna...where are her eyebrows??! oAo") and extreme thigh-exposure here and there. But yeah, all's good so far. ^^' It's not too bad.

It is a very catchy and popular song. There is a little sexy stuff in the music video, and I think kids 12+ should be able to watch the video (even though most young kids have seen it). There is also the word "sexy" in it, but if kids know about sex, and what sexy means, they should be fine with it.

Little kids won't understand the lyrics , they'll just think it's catchy

I LOVE THIS SONG! I know that this video has some suggestive dancing and alot of woman who wear a bit less clothes than average, but young children will have know idea about any of that and will think that the dancing is funny. so if the child is too young to know the meaning of it then he won't notice anything, and if a child who is old enough to know then there are most likely to already be old enough to watch this video. btw, for the children too young to know are to be restricted from translating the lyrics, that solves the problem with the suggestive lyrics.

I like this song, but mainly because of the music (it's very catchy). Most of the lyrics are in Korean, so I can't understand what they're saying. This seems like just a dance song to me, especially since it's in a different language. I translated the lyrics to English, and it is defiantly sexual. The song is apparently parodying sexualization-but it doesn't make it any more appropriate for kids. Aside from the Korean lyrics, there's one line in English that goes, "Hey! Sexy lady!" It's iffy for kids, but-as most of the lyrics are in another language-won't be terrible for them to listen to.
