2. Role models, part two: Bella is smart, independent, and relatively self-assured. But she also always seems to need rescuing. What do your kids think about that? Do they think that her accident-prone nature is part of what appeals to Edward? Does he get to play the savior?

3. Reality check: What makes the relationship between Bella and Edward so exciting? Do your kids think they can find a relationship like that (vampirism aside...)?

4. Sexual abstinence: Edward and Bella draw the line at kissing. How realistic do your kids think that is for 17-year-olds?
