What Parents Need to Know
This review of Scooby Doo Mystery Mayhem was written by Common Sense Media Editors
Parents need to know that this game is perfectly suitable for kids 6 and up and even for some alert 5-year-olds. The only potential concern is that older kids (8+) won't find it very interesting, so it's a better purchase for younger kids.
Families Can Talk About
- Families can talk about mysteries. Was this one very suspenseful? Did you enjoy solving it yourself, or do you prefer watching the characters on the cartoon show?
More on Scooby Doo Mystery Mayhem
What’s the Story?
Kids can play SCOOBY DOO MYSTERY MAYHEM as either Shaggy or Scooby. Players can go back and forth between the two. They can explore a movie set, the wild West, a bayou or a creepy laboratory. What starts as a routine ghost hunting caper turns into the usual assortment of frights and twists.
Using the sinister Tome of Doom and other found items, players knock off the creeps, solve the mystery, and find the mastermind of all the mayhem.
CloseIs It Any Good?
Standard fare for Scooby-Doo cartoon fans, but amusing with nothing objectionable.
