I love this website. You can go onto games and fight or play minigames or anything. The violence is not bad, you can use rockets/bombs/paintball guns/bouncey balls/sling shots/and many other things. This is not bloody. Your kids can learn about scripting, which is an essential when it comes to video game designing, and you can build whatever you want. Parents, there is no filter with language, ive ran into some people who have a tongue of a sailor. (means they cuss alot) but they get banned and cant get back on ROBLOX. You can buy things in the catalog (not real money, your character earns something called tix/robux that you use to buy other things.) And there is one more thing, ROBLOX players can put anything on their game. You have something called decals that you can paint on walls or your house or anything. Sometimes there is blood on walls, but thats only at like a zombie game or something. This also requires a download to play the games, which isnt alot of MB. Administrators are always standing by to make sure your child is safe, like if someone posted a decal of freddy krueger and admin would check the picture and deny it to be uploaded on ROBLOX. So you dont need to worry about anything image wise. There is a 1 in a thousand change that you will find a game where someone cusses. There is a report button too, that you can click put in the characters name, and tell them what theyve said or done something wrong. And the word "noob"is common. This is not a bad word. If you did something stupid people would call you a noob. This just mean you are new to the game or acting like you are. You can make many friends, and if you have any questions, go to the forum, and ask it. Users respond almost immediately and will help you with your problems.

Waring to parents - abuse not handled well by moderators
Parents be warned - the moderation on this site is less than fair. My son reported an abuse and he was reprimanded as if he were at fault. Then I complained to the only email address I could find for contacting them (I happened to see the abuse) and my kid's account was then banned for 3 days for violating the TOS (although when you read the TOS it does not state this as an offence). So he is victimized both ways, thank you. Great lesson for kids by the people at Roblox.
The language used by the gamers is less than desirable and poorly moderated, the focus of the games are generally violent which is inappropriate for the younger crowd. Roblox loads software to your computer which I have found to be invasive and interferes with my loaded programs. Uninstalling is not a clean process either.
All in all, try a free account and then spend your money on at home video games for family and friends.

ITS AWESOME
Roblox is a kid friendly website that needs a download to play. But it IS viris free and is truste aprooved. This safe online game is fun and is a good way to keep in touch with your friends. And one more good feature, if you are under 13 years of age you are needed to use safe mode. safe mode is a feature that makes you use a series of pre-written senteces that are safe. if you curse it will filter the word and you will be banned.

An excellent game
I am Zacmac1997, who won WPBC. Roblox is well thought of, and is mostly aged for 10 year olds.One problem is language because in almost every game,( though with report button), People Cuss. But, you can report them.
Another problem is diffuculty. The building aspect can be extremely hard.
But, if you find out how to play, this game can become addicting!

It used to be fun in it's younger stages, but there are too many "noobs" (as people on the site call them), or kids that don't really know what they're doing, or they are obnoxious. It really ruins the site

Hmm...
I'm 16. I don't know why I play roblox but I guess I wanted to try it out. Off Topic, TONS of innapropriate forums and tons of trolls. Every other word seems to make another user mad. Safety is also a problem. You can even give out where you live in the SAFE chat. To me that's just messed up. I don't think I'm going to stick to roblox.

Hey, I'm from Off Topic. Ima give you a lesson.
OT is mostly the innappropriate forum, as we're known for some pretty disturbing stuff...
RT's full of flamewars.
You get my point.
Oh, and face it. Hackers. ROBLOX wants money. All that.
But, my neighbor plays along with his brother. They started playing when they were 3 and 6. Now they're 4 and 7.

OMG! Roblox is really fun but don't let kids 12 and under play roblox. The people are PERVERTS! Some guy made a script that makes you have a... nvm. roblox is really bad for kids under 12

Roblox cons(remake)
I have a 8 year old child, He plays Roblox. Before he started playing he showed me how cool the site was. he told me if he can make an account for himself. before i would say yes i would have details on the whole game site. it said it was a kiddly friendly place for all ages.i was satisfied.So he was exited to play the game. i was happy to that it will teach your child building skill and engineering.i let him play for an hour and thirty minutes every day.but as months passed roblox got more updates that got cooler.so in roblox's education,solo mode. and engineering skills i was happy. as time still passes on he is starting to like it too far.but suddenly he got addicted to roblox with that happens to 85 percent of the kids on roblox. He was refusing to play outside or help me with the groceries or chores.i know how roblox is from it satisfation and all that stuff. But the community...the community is a different story i find it non-educational almost all the games other users made.and i found out the community is really a immature behaviour.. such as,cursing,roleplay drink and drugs and worse yet..it pornograpic roleplay i found it very extremely offensive for children till the age of 18 i was shocked how roblox community was like..i know my child will never do that..hes a good boy..but sadly..his brain is stuck with all of that cursing and porno and drugs roleplay.the most they do and dont forget to mention...its called"online dating". cursing and online dating is the most they do in roblox community.. such immature children will only do that..a year passed by and my son has of of that in his mind im very very very sad and disappointed at him.i thought roblox was a nice kiddly friendly place....but i know my wife said its a game for immature kids and bad stuff stuck in thier minds. combine porno drugs alcohol online dating bullying that equals 98 percent of those immature kids do that.the 2 percent just build and learn from the education part of the game.my son says bad words only in the house i would yell at him, i have to do that and my wife would do that to for my son not to CURSE at home... but..i say..its not his fault...its ROBLOX'S AND ITS COMMUNITY'S FAULT FOR BRAIN DAMAGEING MY SON. roblox is only good for it engineering skills and scripting and etc but the community is full of such no good behaving children.and the reason why the kids parents said on the news of roblox rally said its only good of its educationing skills and of course without that there would possibly parent complaining in te news about roblox.....that would teach you 0 skills without the building educational features...there is hardly i mean almost hardly any users talking nice and being nice to new people.. i dont know about the guests that 99 percent of users disrespect......i say roblox need to improve x100 than its now ,by NOW......i say parents who have kids and like legos..dont show them the game its pornograpic roleplay, drug and alcohol roleplay, online dating , possibly blood and gore and remaking games like call of duty but in lego form parents dont let your child play roblox games... its best for them to play roblox solo or just build to know how to engineer and thats it but be careful your child could easily get addicted like my son im warning as an advice. roblox's community will damage your CHILD'S brain. and to parent who already have kids play and your child roleplays immaturely and you dont like it im sure you will do the same as me.also its a rip of i gotta "upgrade my child with builders club??? or turbo or outrageous whats the point????? theres no need for thay i blame the head quarters for that. thats a waste of money i say. dont buy its will waste your money savings that you really need and as a matter of fact i wish the builders club turbo builders club and outragous builders club that is a way higher price than than the playstation 3.My child was begging for like 6 months for outragous builders club and i had no choice. he would hate me for that and ignore me or not listen at me and he wanted life time oh my god it wastes a lot of my savings but in a month i will cancel the membership thats the only choice i have.

User created content = lots of pitfalls
User-created content on the web can be wonderful or a vivid window into the worst of our online behavior. Roblox has both. There are many users who have made some interesting - if frequently violent - worlds and games. And there are many other users who work tirelessly to circumvent the content guidelines and present inappropriate materials.
The online dating aspect, in particular, raises a huge red flag for me. Just read the kids reviews here on this site and you'll have some insight into how worrisome this site can be for parents of younger children. (Scary locations/events, violence, bad language, inappropriate messaging)

ROBLOX IS SCARY
It is good... but the games are scary. Theres a game called "The Cursed House" and when you go into this one part of the hallway a zombie face pops up on your screen and makes a disturbing noise. now the weird part was that you couldnt get past it, and right after it popped up it would kick you out of the game. Ive also seen an ad with the exorcist lady on it. it covered the whole thing. and the haunted houses are freaky. I was exploring a haunted house and there was a window that lead into the bedroom and it showed a robloxian with a decal of the exorcist face on its head staring at you. And Koomikes F.E.A.R.s gave me nightmares. theres also a game created by WillieTehWierdo200 called ghost hunters. it is freaky cause if ur in the bathroom and you stare at the mirror a zombie face comes up and makes a noise that gives me the chillies at night. and the front bell rings and a ghost walks by and scares alot of users. theres also the theater screen, (makes a cough noise and a zombie comes up and its frightening) and in the attic thers a room with a chair, and a picture of mona lisa. if u sit in the chair and stare at it lightning flashes and mona lisas face is a scary alien thing.
Now, if you can avoid these games, you will like roblox ;D

Kids shouldn't be on the Internet. Roblox is an example of why.
I've played Roblox for THREE years now. I can say, it's worse than Sonic Unleashed. First of all, they completely ignore any excessive violence. They ignore all reports on online dating. The filter sucks, and noticeable product placement? DISNEY. Users can add drugs into the game, and kids like my cousin feel insecure playing this.

I Dislike Roblox
I think Roblox is a safe place for children to play on, but the website sucks in my opinion, anyway. But children can use curse words, some games are violent, and there is product placement. Roblox is tremendously boring, so boring I got off of it after ten minutes. I am an older girl and this kind of sort is crappy to me, teenagers and adults exposed to this may be upset. This website is rubbish. But younger kids may enjoy it.

DON'T GO TO ROBLOX!!
well it started out likke um okay but now it sucks.
Almost everything on the site costs money, If you play for free you will just want to pay for it because free players dont get many options i used to be OBC but i see now that most people on roblox are jerks or perverts and its not really fun anymore unless your someone who plays with their own family on their own places. Be warned, either make your own child suitable games, or Go into the deep dark world that is the community of roblox. Including realistic nudity, an example is at 123sixtymam's place, unless it was deleted, and bad language.

Users playing this game cause trouble
Users inside the game bring in profanity and plenty of rude behavior. Best to have safe chat. Services are iffy, and moderation many times fails.

Great Game for all Ages
I would recomend to kid odler then 8 but my 5 year old stepsister plays it with no consern. Roblox gives a chance for kid to grow and devolpe in a creative envierment; it is a great game for kids to play, explore, learn, and advance in this way I would highly recomend Roblox to anyone.
