I'm 18 and still find it enjoyable. The characters can be annoying sometimes, but other times, it's really funny. They perhaps make it look a bit too easy to get a job though. Language can include normal insults, and a few c-words, and one character almost says the a-word, but doesn't. Talk of seeing girls naked, one is- nothing shown of course, and a few girls are rarely, but entirely shown, in their bras and panties, though for a short time only. In one episode, a character tries to make a pottery bowl for his girlfriend, but his friends think it's a breast, and occasionally use the word boob, and... it really does look like one.
CSM said this show is suitable for 9 and up! NO WAY!! This is a Young Teen, Maybe 12+ but defently not 9+. First of all Once in a blue Moon their are actual Swear word, second of all the whole show is about Dating one and another. TEEN SHOW
It has little contact, yet it's a positive, teen show. The worst language I've ever heard is "-And now he's gong to kick my a-"(before screaming, so he never finished the word). And this isn't Nick/Cartoon Network show, It's a Canadian show
Perfect for Tweens & up, but may go over younger children's heads
I love this show. It's funny and fairly entertaining. The thing about it is like the Common Sense Media People said, "It has a diverse group." I love this show because of that. It also has a good storyline: teenagers that hang out in a mall and BE TEENAGERS! Of course, in a diverse group there will be sterotypicalities, but you have to live with them. That is part of the comedy. Jonesy (one of the teenagers) flirts with women and wants to see them naked, however, this show is animated and it is not that graphic (nor will it ever be), so there's the sexy stuff, and then for the language is the use of "ass" and "perv" and the ocassional 'playgroud' words like "shut up" and "you're a cow". But the highlights are definitely the positive messages about being yourself, and a good role model is somebody who makes mistakes, and EVERY lead roll in this show makes mistakes. The reason I rate it 11+ is because of the quality. The show was made for tweens, and it is obvious, so most young children would more than likely think that this show is "boring". Younger parents would think this show is ok, not the best, but not awful, and older parents would force you to turn the television off, teens would relate to it, but think that it was nothing new, so the show was aimed for tweens so that they could get a taste of being a teenager (and at that point they would get the comedy of it) and have fun with this show. 11+ and five stars to 6teen!
It's fine. I recommend it for ten+ remember if you make the age rating 12+, 14+ etc that those people are likely not to watch a cartoon when they could be watching Glee or desperate housewives :P
I used to love this show. Don't be fooled by the kid reviewers, they just think they're cool by giving it low ratings. Honestly, this show is pretty good. In some episodes, it get somewhat innapropriate, and they use language like "crap," and "freakin'," but overall, it's really good and especially for tweens.
6teen really takes into matter what teenagers go through, instead of how kids view what teenagers go through. It also gives it a comical spin, which makes me eager to see what the next season has in store. I also enjoyed the theme song, which is really catchy.
It's a good show to show kids a bit about what they might face in years to come. Getting a job, crushes, and just getting older. It is still just a fun show to watch, but I don't think the kids under 9 should watch this unless parents say it is okay.
im a long time veiwer and this is a pretty good show.some of the language is kinda bad like crap that sucks that blows and stuff like that.sometimes they use sex jokes and they date alot but hey they are 16!
its a good show. My favorite characters are Jen and Nikki, but the problem is that caitlin is shallow and all she cares about is looking pretty and shopping. For example, if she gets a bad haircut and she goes to a dance, date, etc,she will start crying and cancel on her plans. Nobody will care if she looks ugly. Shes the only one who cares if she looks ugly. Her other problem is that she spends like her whole day shopping! A girl can spend her time doing waaay more better things like watching TV or playing outside. She would also rather take care of her looks than help a friend. She also thinks that popularity is soooo important. Otherwise, good show.
