I am a big fan of Bones, not only because it shows the harder side to working with the F.B.I but also because it has real human emotion. The gore, might I add, rocks because it fits the show, for crying out loud! She is an forensic/physical anthropologist and obviously theres gotta be bodies. Also the alcohol and the sexual inuendo is realistic because they are real people and most of the time sex isn't taken lightly and they know when to stop.

    Pretty Graphic Sometimes

This show gets really graphic. One episode included a decomposing corpse hung from a tree by a noose. The corpse's head detached from the body and the body fell to the ground in a heap. "Bones" (the lead actress) catches the head in her gloved hands. NOT for younger audiences.

    My concerns are:
    • Excessive violence

    • My highlights are:
    • Positive messages
    • Good role models

    Generally Acceptable

Violence) You can say what you want, but the bottom line is that this program is about death. I don't think it is truly that grisly, but it's all about what parents think. Good Messages) It shows the virtues of individual characters, and the honorable, righteous message of both the sanctity of the spirit of the law, and the sanctity of the letter of the law. Good Role Models) The characters are witty, interesting, fun, and overall, good in nature. All main characters mean well, in many aspects, and only rarely do their motives or actions show an unreasonable amount of flawed logical thinking. All In All) Alright for most audiences. Keep it away from small children or toddlers.

    Five Star Show

This is one of the best shows on television. Brilliant casting and really good characters. The corpses are very bloody and can unnerve even me, a fifteen year old with a stomach of wrought iron. The role models aren't quite great either, as the majority of them are agnostics, and one of them is a sex addict. Booth is really the only good role model in the entire show.

Amazing show if the dead bodies don't phase you

It's forensic anthropology, so there are some gory bodies. There is sex in some episodes, some violence, and cussing. No big deal though.

    Perfect for ages 13+

This show is the best ever ! Even though its about dead bodies It's probably not what you would think. In the show Bones and her team of scientists along with FBI Agent Seeley Booth try to find out the cause of death and who did it. The culprit is usually someone hardly metnioned in the episode. It's very funny at most times and the relationship between Bones and Booth is hysterical at some points :) lovee this show !

    GREAT SHOW! ages 12+

i LOVE this show. The murders can be a little grizzly, but its not that bad. The characters are great and good role models Temperance "BONES" Brennan is a strong, incredibly smart woman who really doesnt have a clue about love and relationships. FBI Special Agent Seeley Booth works with Bones on cases and is very protective of her and will go to far extents to keep her safe. He loves her, but she has no idea of his affection. The plot is amazing and so are the characters. There is some sexual stuff, like angela and hodgins quickies in the storage room, and bones and booth sexual tension. GREAT SHOW!!!

    Ok show

Ok show. Some sex and language, besides the very graphic graphic murder victims. Very interesting and can be pretty humorous.

    AWESOME!

I've watched it since i was 11, when i really discovered it. A truly suspenseful series, and if it was up to me, i give this show a 50 instead of a top limit of : ) a must see show in any case, and the blood and gore you can get through easily

    I love it

I personally LOVE the show, although I found the first two series more gruesome than the rest, although that may have been because I was a lot younger. I definitely think this show is not for the squeamish, but if you can handle the bodies, then you're going to be ok. I think that show is great - it's funny, has a good plot, and you can learn things if you pay attention to what the scientists say.

    I LOVE IT!!!!!

This show is great, although sometime the murder victims are grisly. The actual skeletons are shown more often the the ickier, half-decomposed victims. Lots of innuendo, plus the sexual tension between the two main characters. I would say the sex content is good though, even if Angela makes dirtier jokes, Booth talks about sex as something not to be taken lightly. Language is pretty light, hardly ever used by main two characters.

    Haha, great show!!

I, personally, LOVE the show, but there are sexual references and a lot of the episodes made me cry because of the murder victims, et cetera. I tink it is appropriate for 14 plus.

David Gurney, Your an F-ing idiot...

You clearly mustn't have watched the show at all David, Because The show does work, It isn't trying to be like CSI, and Angela did that so she could find Brennan in a crowded airport while being ignored, not to get information on a case. You shouldn't lead people on and give them the wrong idea just because you don't enjoy the show. Deschanel and Boreanaz are very likable, and together they have strong chemistry. They're a lot of fun (as is Michaela Conlin as Temperance's high-spirited assistant Angela), which is immediately enough to make Bones stand out from most other crime shows on TV. It's defiantly worth giving it a watch and a fare go! (David) I just wish they would get together already LOL

    Best show since CSI

AN amazing show, keeps you on the edge of your seat. I prefer it over CSI just because it has stronger characters and more of a storyline,as well as more humor. Some blood and guts, but no big deal.

    Good but a little violent

Duh it's a little violent, but it's WAY better for younger teens than CSI. some kids under 13 might be a little freaked out, but if your parents are ok with it, watch it! Love it!

Intriguing show...A lot of violent images and creepy/weird murders, but they make it easy to look past those things with an intelligent script and talented actors.
