A stupid show, but fine for kids

In my opinion, the pilot of "Cory in the House" was the funniest. After that the show got lamer and Disney Channel moved it to various time slots. That doesn't surprise me, since the show is so stupid and unrealistic. Adult figures in this show are dumb. The President acts like a total idiot and Cory's dad doesn't care much about him like on "That's So Raven." Overall, kids will enjoy this age-appropriate (but stupid) show.

    Give me a break

Ok my kids love this show. One is 8 one is 12. It isn't a bad show but I feel they focus on the bad things for way too long. Then at 3 min left there is the good message. But the kids don't hear the message because there still in the "wasn't that cool when he did____" Then they copy the bads things and additude. Not remembering the good barely there message. There are a lot worst shows to watch but if they worked on the message more and lay off the I gotta find a girl mentally it would be much better.

    Disrespectful

I think the portrayal of the President of the United States of America is disrespectful. They make a mockery of the man, the office, the position. Typical of Disney. Very disappointing that they would disgrace such an important office. The rest of the show is ok, but The President is portrayed as a buffoon.

    Great show!

This is much better then That's so Raven. I let my kids watch it because there isn't as much problem that raven has with shopping

    Fine for kids

This show is fine for your children I would say 9 and up! There is nothing sexual no bad language and extreamly mild violence. The boys crush on girls a little but its nothing really bad. The worst thing I would think is how you see cory's greed. All he wants is money money money. But thats nothing really bad. I would say this show is fine for young kids.

    It's good but...

I agree with you CommonSense. It deffinetly lacks what That's So Raven had. Lemme break it down for you. Sexual Content: Mild- Romantic kisses in dreams dreamt by Cory, who's crushing on Meena. Violence: Very mild- If there's pushing or shoving, it's usually in a comedic way, not out of anger. Language: Not a problem- "Dang dawg!" is the only word to describe anger in this show. Message: Cory has been raised by good parents and he's a good kid, which is exactly the kind of role model you want for your kids. Commercialism: Almost none- Kung Fu Kats is a T.V. show that is Cory's weakness. One episode is about Sophie, the president's evil daughter, who has a video of cory danced like a fool to the theme song of Kung Fu Kats. It's not a real show (of course) so it probably doesn't have an impact on commercialism. This show is good and I'm disappointed that it was cancelled, but it just didn't have Raven's magic, like CommonSense said.

    Good Show

Some of the episodes are a little advanced for the younger kids though. This show is funny as in dumb and funny as in smart! It's a good TV show. Definatley in the top ten.

    One of my favorite shows!

I love this show! It has lots of funny jokes and alot of crazy situations that Cory and his friends, Newt and Meena get into. And the way they decide to solve the problems is even funnier!. Like one time cory damged the presidental seal, and he tried to fix it, so Meensa put Bohavian stain remover on it, and it made the stain even worse! Although I like Hannah Montana more, I really love this show too!

    Jason Dolley Is A Doll!

Ok this show is super great and I don't think that ANYONE should be putting it down! Jason Dolley is adorable and it is ONE OF THE BEST SHOWS EVER!!!!!!!!! Its about Cory Baxter - Kyle Massey (from That's So Raven)and his dad gets a job as the private chef @ the White house. Cory meets two friends Meena Paroom (Maiara Walsh) and Newt Livingston (Jason Dolley *sigh sigh*) and they have a band. Sophie (Madison Pettit)is very annoying but is also the presidants daughter, Cory has lots of fun with his friends and has a great time! For better or for worse this show kicks butt!

    AMAZING

Ok. I really enjoy watching Cory in the House-and I look forward to all of the episodes to follow. I've tuned into Disneychannel every night so far and I can't get enough of Cory in the House. I hope they start showing re-runs during the week! My favorite character is played by Jason Dolley. His name is Newt, and he's a funny rocker guy. He's not the brightest crayon in the box, but he's a good kid and he makes me laugh...plus he's really cute! Kyle Massey still plays Cory, and is basically the same, Mairia Walsh (sp?) plays Meena-Cory's crush. The three friends are so cool! I love the show! And Jason Dolley! lol
