Good for 10 yr olds and up.
Great show. It's really funny. Will Smith is a good actor.

Show becomes more inappropriate as seasons go on: First season was excellent for younger kids.
Don't get me wrong: This show is brilliant. Funny, clever, but had good family morals; Like most sitcoms, but better. I must warn you, though, this show was designed to show the family growing up, and growing up they did. When the show got older, the writing was older-themed, if you get my drift. Still, try to catch shows airing during nick-at-night.

Now, this is a story all about how My life got flipped-turned upside down And I liked to take a minute Just sit right there I'll tell you how I became the prince of a town called Bel Air In west Philadelphia born and raised On the playground was where I spent most of my days Chillin' out maxin' relaxin' all cool And all shootin some b-ball outside of the school When a couple of guys Who were up to no good Startin making trouble in my neighborhood I got in one little fight and my mom got scared She said 'You're movin' with your auntie and uncle in Bel Air' I begged and pleaded with her day after day But she packed my suite case and send me on my way She gave me a kiss and then she gave me my ticket. I put my walkman on and said, 'I might as well kick it'. First class, yo this is bad Drinking orange juice out of a champagne glass. Is this what the people of Bel-Air Living like? Hmmmmm this might be alright. But wait I hear there're prissy, wine all that Is Bel-Air the type of place they send this cool cat? I don't think sow I'll see when I get there I hope they're prepared for the prince of Bel-Air Well, the plane landed and when I came out There was a dude who looked like a cop standing there with my name out I ain't trying to get arrested I just got here I sprang with the quickness like lightening, disappeared I whistled for a cab and when it came near The license plate said fresh and it had dice in the mirror If anything I can say this cab is rare But I thought 'Now forget it' - 'Yo homes to Bel Air' I pulled up to the house about 7 or 8 And I yelled to the cabbie 'Yo homes smell ya later' I looked at my kingdom I was finally there To sit on my throne as the Prince of Bel Air (= I love watching this show with ANYONE!!! It is so funny! It CAN be innapropriet but not half as bad as some of the more current things!!!

Great!!
this is personally one of my favorite shows its up there with boy meets world and lost. The show teaches you valuable lessons that even a ten my age can enjoy. Every episode is great and hillarious.

VERY funny, and a must-see show!
Not only is the Fresh-Prince a hilarious show, it addresses some real-life iportant issues. More on that later... Only would a very over-protective, pompous, hypocrite parent (my least-favorite type) would find this show inappropriate for their children. Oh, what's that you say? Will's character has an inappropriate sense of humor? Oh please. The jokes can be a little racist, and the language can be a little mild, but it's the way things run. There are far worse shows out there than the Fresh-Prince. It addresses real-life stereotypes as well. Like where they get pulled over driving a fancy car just because they're African American. It makes people open their eyes and realize it's all happening. Overall a very funny, great show. A must-see.

Good but bad
I like this show sometimes but others, the episodes are just stupid or boring. It's funny but has some languge. Each episode has a different boundry. Will Smith is hilarious in this show! A must see for every 9 year old with an adult.

funny sitcom
this show is great. It's kind of like full house. It got cancelled so they're no new eps :(. There is some sexual content. No violence. There is mild language like "damn", "hell", "crap", and one ep had the word "ass" in it. There is drinking by adults but there is no issue bcuz there is no drinking and driving or underaged drinking. So yes 11+ is good.
