A great gift for any girl
I'm getting this box set for my little sister for her birthday because I loved watching this show as a teenager. It's a wholesome show that girls can really grow up with.

So funny and so Awesome
Gilmore girls is the best comedy show ever , all seven season are great and hilarious . This show should not have ended and i think they should have made at least 10 seasons. GG is appropriate for people 13 and up , it has some sex and language but i definitly reccomend it.

I cried and laughed
I absolutely LOVE this show. They talk a lot, a lot but it's really good for teenage girls. There is drinking but not underage drinking and not excessive. The show deals with boyfriends, jobs, and education issues.

My favorite TV show
I love the wit on this show, it's very smartly done. I don't care for the premarital sex, but it could be used for great communication between parents and teens. A little less swearing would also be great. The one thing that bothered me, as I'm sure it did others, was the last scene of last seasons last show. I hope next season doesn't turn "icky."

Best show on TV
I love Gilmore Girls and I think it's a great show to watch with young, teenage girls. There is alot to talk about with young viewers when watching: strong women, social class, importance of education and friendships. I have followed Rory's character from the beginning and I truly love her strong, smart character. She is probably the only female character on TV that is smart and perhaps reflects what many American girls truly like. She is not your stereotypical ditzy, boy crazy, submissive female character. She is quiet, but strong, loves her family and loves to read and is assertive. I simply adore this show, it's witty, fast, and intelligent. I hope they keep it on the air for many more years.

Girl empowered drama with great mother and daughter
Let me start by saying the '05-'06 season is racier and more mature than previous seasons but then Rory is growing up and facing new dilemas. This is a funny, thoughtful show about a mother and daughter and their friendship. I enjoy the witty dialog and the fun quirky characters. The subjects are getting more mature: sex, drinking, responsibility etc. But overall Lorelai and Rory share a good moral compass.

A lovely show. Rory sets a mostly positive example, and Lorelei and Rory get along beautifully, it's a great show.

Great show for older kids to watch with parents
I love watching this show with my teenage daughter. There are great opportunities to talk about issues and how parents and teens have to wrestle with them. I don't mind my 12 year-old-watching it with us, but wouldn't really want her to watch it on her own. It is smart, funny, challenging TV (for a change).

It Makes Me Laugh!
This show is great. It shows how a relationship between a young, single mom & her daughter can be successful, despite the odds.

I aboslutely love Gilmore Girls, it is my favorite show...im 14yrs of age and im now getting into it...younger children might not have much interest in it, probably dont understand alot that happens...im a little worried about the whole sex thing...they do talk alot about it, but a good thing is they dont really show very much on that subject, mostly they show kissing which is fine...because that is a normal thing for children to see...thankfully they dont show anything too inappropriate!! Wonderful Show

I love this show!!! Most episodes are okay for 12-year-olds but a few have more sex then Lorelai's usual dirty jokes. Most of the messages are positive, i.e. Rory loosing her virginity is portrayed as a very bad thing. Luke is a good role model, despite being a hermit. Parents will love all the 80's references. Fantastic Show.

I love the Gilmore Girls! I have a friend that owns all 7 seasons and whenever I would go to her house we would watch whatever episode they were on, because they would watch them in order. I loved the show and even watched it a couple times on my own and am thinking about renting it from the library and watching all the seasons myself. But, I loved the show, sex is implied but you see nothing except maybe a couple in bed together. It is one of the best shows I have ever seen and am sad that it is over. And, by the way, it is very appropriate, as it is rated PG.

Gilmore Girls has been my favorite show since I started watching it when I was 8 or 9. It's a mix of drama and comedy, mostly drama, and is realistic. It's addicting, and even though I've seen every episode of every season, I rewatch them all the time!

Gilmore girls is an amazing show. I do not think that it isn't appropriate for kids under 14, i started watching it when i was nine and i was fine. the sexual references are very subdle that if you are too young you don't even get it so it doesn't matter. i own every season on dvd and have seen every episode at least three times some i've seen about twenty times (dance marathon & Luke and Lorelai at the wedding) Everyone should watch it, and you cannot just watch it once say it sucked and then leave, you need to see like two episodes consecuitively and then you will love it too. I saw anyone over 10 would be fine and enjoy the show. Its AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!

Good show for TEENS
My ten year old sister and i watched the first season of this show together and i thought it was perfectly appropriate for her age. However as we the seasons progressed they began to include far more mature material - most of which she did not completely understand but was still over her head. For anyone age 12ish and over however it is a great show - my favorite.

Interesting Show
When I first started watching this show, I didn't like it that much. But as I watched it more and more I understood the humor and the personality of all the characters. I have really learned that no one should judge this show based on just one episode give it a chance because you really will end up liking it. The content in this show is mainly clean but their are a few iffy episodes that should be geard only at older teens. If your nervous about your kids watching it, watch it with them. There really is nothing to worry about.

The Gilmore's face issues everyone faces at some point in there life... They may not be able to handle what life throws at them, but they will ALWAYS have each other to help... I have loved this show since I saw the first episode a few years ago, and I know you will too. It's inspiring! and sensational! Amy Sherman Palladino knows how to make the viewers feel like they're in the show, and like te show is really going on outside...

Best Series
Such a great show! It is, surprisingly, super fun to watch this with my mother. Humor sometimes wrong, but is taken lightly. Nothing innapropriate is shown, but implied. Most innapropriate thing seen is probably making out in a closet. My favorite show!

this is the best show ever. I watch it all the time and the material is great. there is some sex..but it is all moral and nothing "skanky". Great for anyone..probably anyone 10 or older would understand it.

TV 14! what???
This show should not be rated TV 14 by common sense media. It really is appropriate and I love how the people on the show aren't unrealistically beuatiful like most teen shows are so it doesn't make you feel unsuperior. I like the show better before Rory went to collage though.
