It is understood this series is in its final episodes. Why except for possibly budget? The characters Kyle and Jesse alone have not been given broader view from their creator Adam created from Einstein's genetics and, this could be connected to OTHER WORLD influence the 1930's is known for in secret programs some science was doing then. The producers have this terrific chance to take Kyle/Jesse to greater heights NOT so far seen and like the ABC Lost series, take the audience into major intrigue how far back the Kyle idea goes to. Would you dare the likes of Fox tv Fringe series I religiously endeavor as is Lost? Need it be said, tv shows are only limited to the scripts used? Knight Rider was approached with this same to get away from lame writing/directing many productions seem to show no problem gambling budgets in audience loss. I always share a critique for those who see this using greater wisdom to save intelligent writing, thanks

Not a family show!
It may appear as a great family show from the previews, its not. Many issues are discussed that parents won't want there kids to see. The 8 o'clock time slot should be moved to 9 o'clock or maybe even 10!

Parents be aware!
Caution! First two episodes lulled us into complacency! Third episode had scenes depicting the following - teen girl impressed with erection, teen boy discussing solution to erection and handing over what is obviously a porno magazine, underage kids hiding alcohol and discussing how to find it and drink it, teen girl vomiting after drinking too much, teen girl talking teen boy into skinny dipping, then getting caught, teen girl taking condoms to party with intent of losing virginity, scene of boy and girl emerging from bushes after virginity is lost, girl dissapointed when she finds out virginity taken out of pity. And more, I just don't remember it all right now. The premise of the show is great, but I don't want to normalize this behavior for my 10 and 11 year old.

I think this is a pretty good show, but kids watching should be 11 or 12+

INNAPROPRIATE for kids under 14!
The show is good, however if you have young ones, watch out, don't be blind sided by it! Latest episode really prove to be for older kids. Scene were Kyle is pulled out of a pool by the girl he has a crush on causes him to get an erection, which everyone notices. The sister in the show talks about loosing her virginity before summer is over & is seen putting condoms in her purse, then later is shown w/a boy getting up from some bushes after loosing her virgnity. Later discovers the boy was not that much into her to begin with. Overall, the rating is appropriate, however parents of young children should beware.

Clever
The show is appropriate for all ages because the main character is always attempting to modify his behaviors in positive ways as he goes along. The "real" kids in the house feel a little resentment for Kyle, but at the end of the day it's usually cleared up. It does have some parallels to Smallville bc there are the parents who are going to be foreseeably holding back genius superboy. Grrr. Jonathan Kent.

A Must See Show for the Summer!
Get ready for a Sci-Fi you will be talking about for months! All of the characters play their role just spectacular and I could have not picked a better actor than Matt Dallas to have played the part of Kyle in this series. Somebody out there is ready for a long, overdue laugh, cry, or just a sigh of relief. Thanks ABC FAMILY!

Interesting
This show is really interesting. Sometimes Kyle is to dramatic and I think he isn't completely connected with the real world. He is super smart, but yet he isn't the greatest with common sense. I still love him though! and Josh and Andy make me so jealous..their so cute together. They make me smile!

I LOVE THIS
When I was eight I started watching this. It used to go over my head and was hard to follow but now I get it! This show is great and I am very sad that they are taking this off.

WHY DID THEY TAKE IT OFF OF ABC???
I'm really angry because they took this show off of abc and put it only on abc family channel. So, now I can't watch it because I don't have cable or anything. :( I did watch it every single week that it was on, and it is easily one of my favourite TV shows. It's interesting and you actually want to know what is going on in the characters' lives, even with a couple of cheesy lines and awkward acting moments every episode.

Fun Show, Big Messages
I don't recommend this show to anyone under about 13, but the messages portrayed, when exposed to the right age group, have a profound, positive impact. For instance, when teenage Lori decides to lose her virginity on a whim (I know, sounds bad), she learns to regret her decision, and seeks a more mature, safe take on her relationship. Also, when Mr. and Mrs. Trager discover that their even younger teen, Josh, has been experimenting with marijuana, they recount their own bad experiences with the substance, and Josh's turnaround is instant and truthful. One must also note the main issue: Kyle. By accepting Kyle, despite his unknown background, the characters around him learn tolerance at the deepest level (of course, it helps that Matt Dallas, who portrays Kyle, is exceptionally good-looking, but with that aside...). Once again, this is a great family show for the 'above thirteen' set.

Great!
You see, me and my friends all watch Kyle XY. We are all 11. There is nothing in this show we havn't already learned in health class. Plus, it kinda helps to see things in a realistic situation. My 6 yr old sibling has seen some of the show and most goes over head. By most i mean the sexual parts, and the cursind is stuff she has already heard and knows not to say! Anyway we are all hooked it a great show and we all plan to watch it till its dead!!

Excellent Sci-Fi Drama Includes Questionable Issues
This is a truly original and unique drama about a boy trying to figure out his past, and where he came from. It will keep you entertained, and will have you hooked from the beginning. But there are plenty of questionable issues tackled in this program. It deals with some tough issues such as premarital sex, erection, masturbation, and skinnidipping. Most of these topics are covered within one episode ("Diving In") but they are discussed, and that should be a warning to parent's of younger children.

i cried when kyle said "what am i? u dont know..?"
omg omg omg!! this show is awesomely addicting!! i love it love it love it!! its funny and it has a great cast. i do think that the kids are a little too snobby but their teenagers so i guess its ok....this show would be a whole lot better if kyle got a little puppy!!! it would be sooo adorable!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was worried!!!
My brother told me about this movie and i immediately thought it was a total rip off 4 smallville, but when i watched it i really liked it. I would definetily reccomend this show, it has a great plot, awesome actors, and cute boys. The only reason its rated TV-14 is cuz there is a teenage girl in the house. So obvioulsy there will be some issues like when she sleeps w/ her bf.

My new favorite show
Kyle XY is an intruiging show about a boy with no past. I watched the Pilot with my little sisters and they didn't mention anything about the iffy scenes. So I figured they didn't comprehend that anything bad was going on. This is a good family show but it won't hold the attention of anyone about 5 or under. But I can almost guarantee you'll be hooked.
