The first two seasons of this show were pretty age appropriate for my child. The later one(s?) were over the top with kissing (obviously not just on the lips), crush obsession and inappropriate clothing for some female characters. I love that the actors really do play instruments and write music-most were musicians before they starred in this show. Sooooo much better than Hannah Montana. Dialogue is fairly smart and funny. I think the name of the show turns a lot of parents off before they give it a chance.

Cute Show
I don't think it's really going to appeal to teens (looks like I'm right after reading some of their reviews), but my two daughters (almost 6 and 7) love it. My 9 year old son- not so much. He doesn't hate it but usually leaves the room or finds something else to do when it's on. The girls love the music and the characters. Personally, I think the saga with Rosalina is getting a little old- how many times is she ALMOST gonna leave the band or break up with Nat for good??? But my girls love it and it's right in their dramedy ballpark. We like the style of the show- mockumentary- and the humor is sometimes pretty clever. The acting is terrific; these kids are really talented, and I thought I'd read somewhere that most of the music is actually written by Nat- if true, he's not bad. Sometimes a tad melodramatic and emotional and romantic, but what can you expect when you come from a family of actors and and musicians?

Wow
I gotta say this. This show is nothing but a waste of not only my time but my 2 kids , these kids dont even look like there playing the instruments , and wow what a cry-E little girl those two brothers are. Nick please please take this crappy show off the air so my kids eyes wont bleed when they watch it. Point blank this show suckkks!! i Hate it!

Am not impressed...
Although boys will be boys, these particular group of boys struck me as 15 year olds wannabees. Their demeanor is not something I observe w/ many of the boys their age. For young boys their age, the slap stick humor just seems a bit tacky. That may not be their fault -- it could be the writers, but I still don't agree with the content. Their latest, "I Don't Want to Go to School"....what does the title itself tell our young ones? These are YOUNG BOYS -- and I emphasize BOYS as in CHILDREN, NOT TEENAGERS -- who are sending out the wrong message to YOUNG children at the tender ages of 5-11!!

Silly tween comedy is much better than the movie.
This show picks off where the independent 2005 film, The Naked Brothers Band, let off. Two years later, The Silver Boulders are now known as The Naked Brothers Band, and their arguments are fewered, but not that much. This show explores not only the glamorizing life of being a superstar, but issues that normal teens and tweens go through too, like the akwardness of young love when there's an age difference. Of course, with any tween show, there is the usual tween show material - not much for parents to worry about. Some skimpy outfits, kissing, flirting, slapstick, etc. If your kids like this show, they will also like Hannah Montana.

Insipid and Insidious
What first struck me about this show was how little these characters acted like real children. Their attitudes, beliefs, interests, and style are all creations of the media. Little disingenuous know-it-alls who care way too much about the opposite sex. An incestuous love affair between television and itself. I told my 12-yr-old daughter she could watch "The Naked Brothers Band" only if we watched it together and talked about it afterward. She chose not watch it at all if her dad had to be in the room. Too embarrassing for words? Exactly.

For a little older croud than 8-10
I have boys of my own so i watched this with them. There was way too much sexual innuendo. I can guarantee that boys that are 8 or honestly even 10, do not even think about girls, but yet the show seems to portray these little boys that are all about the girls. We need to let the children discover the opposite sex when they are ready and not push it is their faces.

I think this show is great, and the movie was also good. Keep in mind it is SATIRE, so it may not be realistic. I do think though, parents should probably supervise their children, should they choose to let them watch the show. I would recommend it for middle school aged, and older elementary shool children.

My husband and I recently decided that our son will no longer be permitted to watch The Naked Brothers Band. When first introduced to the program, my son, who enjoys music of all kinds, seemed to react in a positive way, but now, following a recent episode during which one of the brothers hit another male individual in the groin, he has started punching others (in the groin) obviously thinking that it is okay. It blows my mind how a show like this is available to young kids.What is it teaching its viewers??

Enjoyed the movie. Watch every show. We need the CD of songs! We need the DVD with all the music videos. Can they TOUR? I want to take my kids to see them! I hope we get to continue to see and hear from them as they grow!

Absolutley HORRIBLE
This show has caused me block the Nickelodean channel all together! I think it is horrible that young children are portrayed as the worst adults in our sociey (rockers) with addictions and sexual desires. I was horrified at even the name of the show! Come on!!! Do pre-schoolers really need to hear and see these commercials during Dora and Diego!! Where is the real creativity!!!! YOu should be ashamed!!

fun
I've watched this show a bunch of times with my nieces and nephews. I think it's great- it demonstrates friendship, is against racism, and helps kids realize the importance of individuality- like in the episode when Alex advertises his look on TV and everyone starts dressing just like him- he freaks out and realizes he doesn't want a bunch of other Alex's around. So he adds some new style to his already stylish look. And in response to their being foul play between a caregiver and alex, everyone knows that kids get crushes on babysitters and teachers at some point in their life. Yes he had a crush on his babysitter but he than met a little girl his age who skateboards and decided to be her boyfriend. Lets not be so judgemental with the show. Kids need the freedom to know their own likes andn dislikes. Hope I helped. Vik

Inappropriate for younger kids
Maybe I'm old-school; but I don't think this show is appropriate for kids under 12 at all. There is waaaaaaaaayyy too much inuendo of a sexual nature for kids who are 10 - let alone SEVEN!!! If this one band-brother *really* is 6? ... Unbelievable. And people wonder why the country's going to you know where - The songs I've heard are cute - but I no longer let my son watch the show ... and he knows why.

Dont let you Tweens watch this show.
Parents need to know that this series potrays a little boy(7-8) and a tween boy(11-12) having sexual relations with girls.A 14 yr.old girl has an intimate relationship with a 25yr.old britash man.Tweens do have intrest in the other sex sometimes but this is rediculouse.

This show is about a band of teenagers and their issues, drama, etc. This show's title is inappropriate (I'm surprised no one's bothered to point out the title) and my mom went online a few months ago, and found this show is on a "Most Inappropriate Bands" list, and this show (or band, which ever) is on the top 5. Anyways, their songs are bad for kids (i.e. "I Don't Wanna Go To School") and is the worst show your kids can watch on Nickelodeon. Overall, 1/5.

jesus, this is horrible. the kids are annoying , they can't play there instruments. don't belive me look closely. guitarist is picking wrong. drummer.. well he's not even a drummer, he just a kid swinging his arms all over the place. a fill would come up and he is still hitting th hi-hat. am i the only one who saw that. uh im disgusted

I love this show...its really cool for kids to be able to get cool clean music and TV thats also fun to watch! nat and alex are cute and love being kids!! i love the relationship between nat and rosalina...it represents what 13/14 year old guys and girls actually go through! Eeveryone should at least watch a couple episodes...some are better than others but i like them all

I personnaly love NBB! It shows kids that life sould be fun. In the first movie Alex IS a sodaholic BUT then he becomes a MILKaholic. It is funny and just right for nickolodean viewers. I LOOOOVVVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!

I absolutely LOVE this show. I haven't missed a single episode. Their music is SO great! I can't believe anyone would dare to say that Hannah Montana or the Jonas Brothers are better than The Naked Brothers Band, because The Naked Brothers Band is the best show in the history of the world. :3 The cellist is sooooo cute!

THEY ARE TERRIBLE
No one likes this ''band!'' On youtube, usually when people say things nice about the video, they put thunbs up. But on NBB, there are SEVENTY NINE thumbs down. Thats SAD! Honestly thats sad. Their not a real band the only reason their famous is because their Dad is rich. Nat has NO TALENT and he sounds LIKE A GIRL! And the show is just so band I cant even say how much I hate it.
