This is fantastic
This is one of my fave nickeloden show and its so funny and funny but usfull tips and i think he could be a great profesinol actor when he grows up. like i always like say when u start young you carry on through your life. Some of the things that they come out with is like WOW!!!!!!!!!! any way i love the show and me and thousands of other people want more made and not just some short ones but movie length aswel... rock on Ned!

A show that's entertaining and age-appropriate
This show seems targeted to elementary- and middle-schoolers because the premise of the show is how to "survive" middle school. Plots have gone from cheating to bullies and anything in between. Some questionable cartoonish violence may be present, but never results in serious injury. Overall, this show is meant for tweens. For teens who might find this show cheesy, check out "Miss Guided." Humorous plots and situations in those episodes are somewhat similar to those found in "Ned", but have content in it that's questionable for tweens which is why I recommend it for teens.

Sexual Content (Not an Issue): Some kissing and flirting. Violence (Not an Issue): Some beating up and comic pratfalls. Language (Not an Issue): Fart, butt, and pee are frequent. Social Behavior (On): Ned offers positive advice to viewers, his friends (for the most part) treat each other respectfully. Some bullying, but it's made clear that this is not acceptable behavior. Diverse cast, some crude humor. Commercialism (Not an Issue): None. Drug/Alcohol/Tobacco (Not an Issue): None.

Finally ... a WATCHABLE live action show on Nick.
Overall, I like Ned. Sure, the characters are all stereotypes, the plots are a little contrived, but I can let my kids watch for half an hour without worring about exposure to more teen-related issues, like that GOD-AWFUL Drake and Josh. A few years ago, Nick had a good run with pre-teen shows that parents could watch without wishing for the quick, painless death of an aneurysm. What happened??

An interesting show...
Sexual Content: Dating Issues appear as well as kissing, but nothing worse than that. Violence: Characters get whacked with stuff like dodgeballs, fists, random supplies, but it's not a real problem. Language: None Social Behavior: The main characters promote helping other people. Commercialism: There are a lot of spoof objects (Cheese Puffs, Simulated Target Commercial for the school store), and Game Boys are shown once.

Started as a time killer, ended up being...
As my headline started off, I was bored and began to watch a couple episodes and it turned out to be quite entertaining. I'm an older viewer but this show still caught my attention. Good laugh and a great example of everyday life in middle school and even high school. Too bad this show wasnt around during my years in MS and HS but its a good things its around now. Props to Nick for finally making a show worthy of watching. I can continually watch this show and be entertained unlike others. The humor isnt at the point of stupidity like Drake&Josh and Spongebob. 5 Stars for an educational and good natured show. Great for kids and teens.

Wonderful show with positive messages and role models. When I have kids this will be a show I will make them watch, because it's just, well, wonderful.

Amazingly, this is a sitcom with out a laugh track!!! *gasp* A very good show, things are eggagerated, but that only makes things more fun. Can be helpful with school. I love it!!!!!!!!!!!

Great show for preteens!
I love this show. It is about Ned, a kid who is a 7th grader when the show first starts. He gives great tips for middle school kids or kids who will be in middle school too. The only issues is commericalism is because there are alot of cell phones, fashon, etc. which i dont exactly get why it would be an issues. Ned is a positive person, and he knows how to deal with bullies and middle school issues.

Great show!
It's a typical middle school/junior high show. Good role models, with slight communerism. The only thing I would worry about if you have a younger kids is the kissing (which comes up every once in a while, especially near the end of the show). If you're not worried about that sort of thing, it's perfectly fine! :)

I'm glad that they're putting it back on-air because I'm going to middle school next year I'm in 4th grade but people are moving us up a year early so it would be helpful to watch over the summer not just for people moving to middle school for all school kids.It is entertaining yet informational.I think this is good for 5+ especially because I was 6 when I started watching,before I entered 1st grade P.S. I watched it ON Demand(that's also how I see commonsensemedia videos)at 6am on my first day of Elementary School(2005)

ok so i am going to high school this fall, this show was my FAVORITE to watch in junior high!! when i first saw a commercial for this i thought it was stupid, but then i watched it and i fell IN LOVE with it!! i watched it so much i pretty much know each episode word-for-word. im glad they r showing it again after being cancelled and not shown on nickelodeon for a year, i still watch it every time i get the chance, and i still laugh. ned is a great character and he's not perfect which makes me love this show even more. i hope they make sumthing for high school i would DEFINITELY watch it! this show is great for kids 11+

Another Great Show CANNED!
Nick, in my opinion, have no idea what HUMOR OR FUNNY is. They cancel all the good shows and leave the craptastic ones on air. WAKE UP YU IDIOTS!!!! CARTOON NETWORK IS RUNNING CIRCLES AROUND YU!!! YU ARE MORONS! This show was funny, it desevred it's four stars, but NO ONE CAN WATCH IT BECAUSE IT WAS CANNED! (AND I STILL HATE YU FOR CANCELING ZIM!!!!)
