AWFUL
I just realised my nine year old was watching this on a regular basis, I thought it was ok because it was a cartoon and then I saw some of it. It is AWFUL and not appropriate for children.

Raunchy Show For Older Children
I love this show! I watch it by myself at night a lot. I started letting my 16 year old watch also. There is some language but most is censored and a lot of sexuality. I love how Kyle sticks to his faith now matter what!

Perfect for Most Older Teens!
It's a really funny animated sitcom, and if older teens don't mind the slurs, swearing and more, then this show is a must-see!

THIS SHOW IS SO FUNNY. the bad things about it are the sexual content is graphic in almost every eposode there are talk of blow jobs and kenny dies in every episode. it is so funny see it if you are over 11!!!!!!!!!

Mature show, with a positive message...
This show is usually only as offensive as Family Guy, and actually has a moral message to it. That said, some episodes are pornographic in nature, and are just gross. Most episodes should be TV-14, and are perfectly appropriate for those 14 and over. If you want to be absolutely safe, watch the cut, TV-14, syndicated version, which is aired on network television, locally the CW (if you don't have cable this is your only choice). This is my favorite television show, and is the only comedy I watch regularly, the only other show I could say I watch regularly is 24, and I don't know that I'd call my watching of 24 regular anyway. Being someone who isn't big on TV, and still watching this show, that alone should say something.

PARENTS, READ THIS REVIEW!
Southpark will always be funny in the eyes of pretty much every single minor, and many, many adults. There is no question in its quality as a comedy. It's an A+ Kids (I guarantee) will want to see this. I personally think that kids by the age of 15 should be able to handle the hail storms of profanity, racist jokes, violence, sexuality, potty humor and see deeper into the plots of each episode. Hopefully, kids will be able to understand how the humor Southpark makes has meaning. In every episode, it shows (by how the parents act) how hostility towards others, selfishness, short-sightedness, and ignorance will only turn good situations bad, and bad situations worse. The purpose of Southpark is not to offend for nothing but for a quick laugh, but to show how the people who disrespect others and act stupidly and for no ones benefit but their own come out on the bottom at the end of every episode. (Take Cartman for example).

A Comedy Central classic since 1997
This show has been on since 1997 and has gotten no more offensive than it was back when it aired 11 years (soon to be 12 years) ago. This show has always been a TV-MA LSV rated older teen and adult show. It is for mature (and non-sensitive) audiences only. It mocks everything from handicapped people to Jesus Christ himself.

TEACHER
As a teacher, I feel that this show is completely innappropriate for any child (under age 17). I personally find the show funny and enjoy watching it with my adult friends, but would encourage parents to veto this one. Additionally, Simpsons and Family Guy are not appropriate for your children to watch. I feel that parents sometimes see an animated show and think that because it is a "cartoon" it is kid-friendly. That is not the case. After reading the reviews written by children, I would strongly encourage your children to pick up a book. The vocabulary and grammar used in these reviews is atrocious.

NOT FOR KIDS!
Even if the content itself is considered barely appropriate for 15-18 year olds, the fact that this show is offensive to so many different people makes it Not For Kids.

This show is freaking wonderful. There is explicit violence and sex at times, but it's all done in a ridiculously funny and cartoonish way. It takes a degree of maturity to understand the complex satire. That is why this show is good for kids fifteen and up. There's more to the humor than "Oh my god! They killed Kenny!" You just have to look past the stupid humor (although the stupid humor is pretty funny too). Give it a try, just make sure you know what you're getting into.

The best (and most controversial) satire ever made
Let me get this out of the way real quick...South Park should never, ever, EVER, EVER be watched by ANYONE under the age of 13. And I mean it. This show is not politically correct in its treatment of social issues, and although the kids in the show are only 4th graders, this is not a show for children. That does not mean, however, that this show is not funny. That's far from the truth. If you're into current events, South Park is HILARIOUS. This show lampoons everything and anything, from organized religion to celebrities. Need I remind you that only teenagers should watch this show, and that it's satire? True, South Park has lots of wholly inappropriate content, but there are lots of smart people who can go past the bad content and look at the hilarious treatment of social issues. Overall, South Park is the only show that can make something such as the death penalty funny, but it's definitely not for kids.

Outrageous and shocking, four fourth graders are living the life way over their heads. Parents complain how rude and senseless the constant swearing, sex jokes and violence is on this show, but it becomes very clever. For example: A adult walks up to you and says 'Shut your f-cking face!'. Not funny at all. A child crudely drawn walks up to you and says 'Shut your f-cking face!' You can't help but chuckle.

I watch this show and there is a lot of violence, sex, stuff about drugs, and a lot of language. This show was meant for older teens, about 15 or 16 years old and up. The show focuses on real life topics like drug abuse, sexual orientation, racial issues and a couple of times, the economy. Some episodes are extremly violent with tons of blood, some focus on sexual stuff and other issue.

Hilarious! Only for Mature Kids over 8.
The show is so funny! I love it a lot. But the swearing is blocked out but still lots of swearing, lots of sexual innuedo, drinking, smoking, comic violence, bad role models and un-positive messages. That is what makes the show funny.

Many parents underestimate what kids can handle
Most kids have common sense to tell what is entertainment fiction and reality. By the age of 12 most kids already know all the swears and when and how to use them in a non offensive manner in REAL LIFE!! There are some sexual themes but in the 5th grade (at my former school) everyone learned about puberty, sexual organs, changes you go through when in puberty and maybe pregnancy. If 5th graders can handle learning about puberty and go through a sex ed class then 12 year olds (ussually 6th and 7th graders) can handle the swearing and the VERY little and sometimes legitiment sexual themes.

Depends on parents and maturity of kids. Usually good for13 or 14 and up.
This show is an awesome show and I love it, but I wouldn't say it's okay for kids under 11 but it really depends on the parents. Me and my mom watched a few episodes and she decided that it's okay for me, but I'm 14. Me and my mom think that it actually gives pretty good messages sometimes by showing the exact opposite. It then seems obvious that that is not the way to go. Trey Parker and Matt Stone are so smart.
