    You are wrong!

Teen Titans is based on DC comics, not marvel! Marvel and DC are very different you make many mistakes in your reviews. Any way my rating is the age appropriation and stars.

    And that's FANTASY violence.

First off, even I watch this show. It's something my kids talk about and enjoy. One episode, a character (Dick Grayson) goes insane and has some hallucinations due to some chemical powder. I mean, If it was live action, of course I wouldn't let them watch it. But remember watching Batman when you were a kid? Getting the bad guys? We all watched that rot and here we are now. HELLO IN THERE? Look where you snobs are now! Second, It's something Dad can marvel about because he can go, "Hey, isn't that Robin? Where the hell is Batman?" And you gotta agree, that is pretty fun to watch.

    blech

what an awful show. If you can get past the slick graphics and the familiar characters you are left with very little substance and a whole lot of unnessary violence.

    Teen Titans review

Teen Titans is one of the best shows around, I watch it (i am 15 years old). But I think the rating should be like 9 or 10 and up on age. There is a lot of voilence,i guess its ok to let kids a little younger watch it, but remember, some episodes are worse than others. The episode "Revolutoins" is a good one for kids. Also "Mother-mae-eye". But episodes like "THE END" is NOT i repeat is NOT suitible for kids under 9. So overall just let kids 8 and up watch the show.

    unbelieveable

i think it is a great show. it shows the children about super heroes. whats better then that?!?! we all loved cartoons when we were small so why do we have to change? we turned out fine so what will be different with our kids i ask. NOTHING. let them watch what they want. give them the choice to change the channel if they wish and if they dont, then let them watch it!

    Family time with "Teens"

My family & I watch Teen Titans together. The issues that come up tend generate great discussions about friendship, loyalty, and even vegetarianism, among other things! We all love it, and I'd recommend it for family viewing. My kids love it because the super-heroes are kids, too.

Perfect for all ages exspecially ages 6-14.

Parents need to know that this series can sometimes be a bit violent:A girl tries to do good everywhere she goes but ends up hurting ppl..betrays her friend by spieing on them for 50yr.old man and steals their secrets during her 5 weeks with them, she purpoussly intends on killing/hurting her friends 3-6 times. When sshe fails to kill them the mad 50 yr.old man pimp slaps her and physically abuses her...he then takes cntrl of her body and forces her to kill her friends...the girl takes back her body and tries to kill/stop/hurt the man and mistakelly causes a volcano..the girl uppercuts(punches) the man into the lava and kills him,she takes it upon herself to stop the volcano and in the end she ends up turning herself into stone(a statue) due to her stopping the volcano. She son comes back at the end of the series and fakes amnesia and leads a happy life, though parents need to know that she was based off a charecter on the shows comic counterpart(The new teen titans)who killed herself in an attempt to kill everyone on earth. This show is kid friendly anfd aimed at 6-12 yr.olds...overall,a great show for kids to grow up with!

    Good show for kids

I watched one episode and thought that the female characters were considered as strong as the male, which is refreshing for a show nowadays.

    WOW!

What makes this show so great is the character development. They only have 5, so it allows for each one to be accounted for. And not only them as induviduals, but as a team, and how they interact with one another. Think of a random pairing, and you can predict how they will act around one another. The show has deep plots, lighter plots, and sometimes just silly plots (being Japanese in nature). I really loved it.

    I'm sad it ended

it was a good show that appeals to more than just one age group. although some things aren't very appropriate for very young children. I guess its best for tweens since there is romantic moments, kissing, crushes and there are also violent fights, betrayel, harsh treatment and just plain evil characters.

Whoever thinks this is too violent is Grandma.

Teen Titans is not bad. It is very wholesome, for all the characters look out for each other and treat each other like family. Common Sense, I am afraid that you just watched the very very important episode called "The end" and the girl called Raven wanted to save her family, but believed that she was a horrible person inside, but in the end, she found out she could use her powers for good, too. Or maybe you saw "Aftershock" part 1, and you lost it in the middle of the episode. But it was the same story in part 2. In the teen titans movie, there is one kiss, but it was the kiss we were all waiting for anyway. As you can see, the teen titans are a sweet bunch, and to them there is more than fighting in life, there is family.

    OK, but unnecessary.

I used to watch this show all the time, and, well, I probably shouldn't have. It is good, but they end it too soon with only sixty-five episodes where most shows have at least eighty. As far as the content goes, sexual content will be a problem as Starfire wears a rather revealing outfit, and, obviously, is the one every boy likes. Violence is terrible and most of the time, characters seem to fight just to fight. While most of the time for a noble purpose, Robin loses his tempor often, and the other Titans also tend to go overboard in fighting, expecially when it comes to fighting Slade. It is also obvious, they enjoy killing their enemies, and Cyborg even tries to kill Slade in one episode only to have Slade destroy his weapon. Enemies will die often, and the second to last episode, they kill EVERY enemy except Slade, Brother Blood (shouldn't that give a clue), and RedX. The final espisode, Beast Boy goes after a robotic Slade hoping to kill the actual Slade. Also, Cyborg defeats Blood by pulling off his hands and later having Blood's arms shattering off. While there are morals put in this show, this show doesn't punish crimes the way it should, and there is a lot of arguing, insults, and other unnecessary stuff. Although this is considered a children's show, I would say that no one should watch it.

    Teen Titans

It's a good show for the older age group, but not something you would want to show to your real young kids. And in the show they do make it clear they are friends but one of them(Raven)has trust issues, but if watched season three and four you would see why.

I've loved this show for about two years now. It's been cancelled now, but I love it to pieces. I'm an 8th grader, and people make fun of me for liking it, but they don't bother me. They're just missing out on a good show. ( As IF MTV is any better :P )

    Just another cartoon.

There's not anything bad in it, but after awhile it's boring. I mean, the everyday problems they face make it sorta predictable. I don't think it's anything great.

Teen Titans is my favorite show! Although they fight, the show isn't about them mindlessly fighting without any character developement (as someone else said too). Also, they never fight without a purpose. The villian is sometimes effected by the titans (ex. Thunder and Lightning). It is NOT mindless fighting!

    Teen Titans, GO!

Okay, so I admit... I'm twelve and obsessed with this show. Some episodes are terrible, but most are real gems. Being an avid Robin/Starfire shipper (one who likes Robin and Starfire as a couple) the romance is a little low, but it is an action show. I've never found the action to be "too intense" and I don't know anyone else who does. It's fast-paced, fun, and amazing, but not scary. Some episodes really drive their point home- like "Haunted"- but overall Teen Titans is a good, light cartoon.

    A cartoon worth watching!

I'm a little disappointed at the fact that these reviews from CommenSense labeled Teen Titans as a mindless fighting show. It's not. I mean yes, there is a lot of fighting but there's much more to it. In every episode there's always those times were the charactors are just hanging with each with leads to some great CHARACTOR DEVELOPEMENT. Yes there is charactor developement in the show. Relationships have grown stronger and friends have come and gone. ((There is some romance in the Teen Titans. Nothing more then a few hugs..yet.)) The female charactors are very stronly portrayed. They aren't just pushed to the side, but are tuff and in your face. I'm a 13 yr. old girl and I find this show to be one of the most entertaining cartoons around. It's every genre, Humor, Drama, Action, Adventure.
