    Mixed feelings

It's ok but i have mixed feelings about this show first of all Zoey is sweet and cute in the early episodes strong, respectful and a good friend but when the show nears the ending Zoey becomes rude and obsessed with her looks and her love life which then becomes obvious consumerism but Hannah Montana is a LOT better

Good Message, But some Iffy stuff

The show has some content that goes to TV-PG Like Chase beating up the police and implied nudity like when Micheal was showering and the horse came in. Overall it's TV-Y7 Content

Tween Magnet, But Talk to Your Kids About It!

This is a favotrite of my two tween (11, 12) daughters. I agree with CSM that the world of Zoey is very idealistic, with not many real world, tough problems that today's teens face addressed here. (Perhaps this attracts a wider audience for the network.) Like other shows marketed for a tween audience, keep in mind that the characters date and have kissing and touching as a problem focus. For example, in one episode a girl (stereotypically, the "nerdy" one) has the problem of never having kissed her boyfriend, and her friends are astonished to the point of pity for her. She spends that episode in search of her boyfriend so that she can reach that milestone. At least, however, once her boyfriend realizes what she's up to, he decides to take control so that the kiss can be meaningful, and not just any old kiss. Bottom line, wait until your kids are old enough to really start thinking about the opposite sex as attractive, and then talk to them--a lot!

    Ugh.

Sexual Content: People are constantly talking about dating and making out. Violence: Occasionally, people will be hurt or violence is implied. Language: Jerk, jeez, Oh my god, etc. Social Behavior: Numerous negative male stereotypes. The main characters are often cruel to others and are portrayed positively. In one episode, the main characters put a characters prized possessions into acid to get information from him after tying him up. Commercialism: Tons. Drugs: The kids seem to be addicted to coffee.

In light of news about show's star....

I don't believe this show is no longer acceptable to tweens. Jaime Lynn Spears is pregnant and yet nobody seems to give a hoot or a holler about how many tweens look up to her. Her personal life is really souring the show. I think Jaime Lynn being pregnant sends a bad message to tweens still trying to figure out puberty and social situations.

    One of the BEST

Zoey 101 is perhaps the only television show that has ever portrayed outstanding students - those who are popular, make good grades, and have good behavior in a positive light. Usually, successful students are portrayed as "Mean Girls" and anti-heroic figures glorified. The optimism displayed here, the respect paid to what is obviously an exclusive private school, and the choices the kids make on their own - all imply parenting skills that have equipped the characters to excel in the environment. Parents are not present because it is a boarding school, but school staff are portrayed as caring, compassionate figures who are respected and worthy of respect. I have been on the set of the show, and seen first hand that they are careful to not offend people of faith - a casual expression of "geez" (slang for Jesus - taking the Lord's name in vain - was immediately stopped and will not air). Parents who are concerned that Jamie Spears is like her sister and a bad role model have nothing to fear. She is a polite, respectful, Christian young lady who was delightful to meet and well founded in her values by loving parents.

    THIS IS ZOEYTISTIC

THIS SHOW IS GOOD BUT AT THE SAME TIME HAS SOME ISSUES. I GAVE THE SEXUAL CONNET LEVEL AN IFFY BECAUSE THIS SHOW HAS A GUY NAMED LOGAN. AND HE SHOPS FOR GIRLS AS IF HE WAS SHOPPING FOR CANDY. THE SOCIAL BEHAVORS IS UP THERE IN THE FIRST SEASON THE GUYS BUT A CAMARA IN THE GIRLS LOUNGE TO SPY ON THAT AND THAT GOES TO FAR. THE LANGAGAE IS ONLY LIKE SHUT UP AND SUCK.

    A GREAT SHOW

this show is one of my favorites. Zoey 101 is a fun entertaining show about a teen girl who goes through many differnt adventures at boarding school. The messages are always positive. also in every episode there is a problem with a charecter or a mystery to solve and the kids use courage and friendship to figure out he promblems or just to lend a hand to there friends wether its with grades, relationships, fears they help eachother through it all. bottom line zoey is a very good rolemodel, and this is a very good and entertaining show for kids 6-12 and maybe 13 or 14.

    i guess! PLEASE READ!

ok i am alot youger than the people who are saying other stuff but i was hoping for atleast someone to say that Hannah Montana is worse and that zoey actually is quite a polite and mannered girl who loves her little brother which at least keeps the younger viewers think of how to treat their older siblings and of coarse there is kissing scenes and flirting but its more of lola (zoey's roommate) that does the flirting which means that the veiwers don't care that much about lola but always look up to the main character i am not a fan but i think you should watch Hannah Monatana before watchig this because then your mind will change and be thinking about writing a review about miley/hannah....also my school friends are all like how this program acts because when i go on msn there are things like " when is joe taking me to the prom" or "single" and that is definatley true! thanks and i hope i got you thinking!

    I LOVED THIS SHOW!!!!

I LOVED THIS SHOW BUT IT ONLY COMES ON ONCE IN A BLUE MOON. I USED TO WATCH THIS SHOW ALL THE TIME. I WATCH THE MOVIE. CHASE LIKED ZOEY. WHEN I SEEN THE MOVIE AND THE PART WHERE CHASE CAME BACK AND ZOEY DIDN'T GO TO THE PROM CAUSE SHE DIDN'T HAVE NO ONE TO GO TO THE PROM WITH AND CHASE AND ZOEY KISSED. I THOUGHT THAT WAS SO CUTE I KNEW BY THE END OF THE SHOW ZOEY AND CHASE WOULD END UP GETTING TOGETHER. BUT YEAH IT WAS A GOOD SHOW.

    Sigh...

I absolutely despise shows about girls that would rather put on a bunch of makeup than have good grades. And just look at the SCREENSHOTS--all of that uppity rich gear that turns your sweet little baby into a spoiled brat! All in ONE ROOM! I do recall the pilot, in which there was a scene that a girl that originally didn't want to go around campus because of the shirt she was wearing (and she was the absolutely boy-obsessed character. Shock and awe). Well, if you didn't like the shirt, why did you wear it? I do so remember and treasure the days when shows told our generation that perfect didn't exist. But now, these kind of shows are making our children (and the people I have class with) spoiled beyond the rotting point!

    Ugh...

This so focuses WAY too much on boys, kissing, and romance. There was one scene with Lola, Zoey's roomate, passionately kissing another boy while making "mmm" noises. Also, I think that the show shows too much kissing and romance. There are even scenes where characters ask one another if they want to go make out in the car and things like that. This show is just sending a bad message to little kids.

This is great show but not a great message

This is a great show. But they fluff up the teenage dating! A romance between Zoey and Chase goes on and on. Then one day Zeoy's parents tell her they are moving to England and Zoey doesn't know what to know what to do because Chase's opinion only matter but he is mad at her so she goes! Then Chase goes after her to England but finds Zoey has moved back to PCA (there old school) for him! I MEAN COME ON! The message is just wrong. This is why I do not recommend this show for younger viewers!!!!

    Boys, boys boys!!

My gosh!! I've watched this show several times with my brother, and what do I have to say? CUT DOWN ON THE DATING!! My gosh OMG! Every episode can't go 10 minutes without mentioning something about a date! It stinks! It really does! Even my 29 or 30 year old cousin thinks it talks to much on dating! Man!! Or should I say, to much man!!

    READ THIS!

While there are good things about this show, it has it's bad stuff like... -Lots of flirting, kissing, mentioning making out, saying stuff like, cute and hot.In Chasing Zoey, Lola (Victoria Justice) asks Quinn if her dress is too "sexy" for her date.In another episode where Logan spreads a rumor, Zoey and others threaten to take off the curtain while filming for the school news show. -The cast disobeys the Dean in a lot of episodes. -Mentions of bras and such (Should a younger child see or hear that?) There's a lot more, but I'll save you the time. Now, this is a great show, but think before you let your child watch. Probably not the best for a child in fourth grade or younger. Cya ppl!

I love this show and I am watching Blast from the Past now. This show is one of my favorites. Very funny, verry cool. I have always loved the show but I have liked it more during the last episodes and Im upset that the show is ending. But even though Jamie Lynn is pregnant, I'll always be a fan of Jamie!

    i dont know

i thought it was okay but my older bro hate it when i watch because it has bad messages. In one eposode, Logan and Zoey open coffee shops, which was against the deans rule. Somehow, I don't remember, but dean finds out about both of them had one and he brings them 2 his office. There the dean coffee machine is found (he's not supposed to have 1 either). the kids bribe him saying, "i wont tell if you wont tell" and that it...the end...everyone..no more...Bribing?? OMG

What is all of this talk about it being unrealistic? Do people go 2 boarding school in real life? Yes. And about the kids being rich stuck-up jerks? Only Logan. And about commercialism? It is a television show. Of corse the people in the show are going to own something. None of the brands are brands in real life except for the Apple computers. And about your kids wanting the stuff in this show? Kids are going to want that stuff anyway, and they are going to see it in any show or movie that they can possibly watch. Sexual content? Only flirting and kissing. Kids are going to see that anywhere, too. This is a great show. It is funny, cute, sweet, and fun all in one pacage! I recomend this show to anyone ages 7 and up!
