Fruits!!!

Warnings: If you were expecting it to be exactly like the movie, baseball centered, or heteronormative, you will be disappointed. The characters drink and smoke, but it's not the main topic. The baseball team (the Peaches) gets into a physical fight in one episode, but it's more comedic than graphic. There are 2 short s3x scenes, but they don't show anything. There is also a dream, but It doesn't get too bad. And if you want to watch a clean show, this is not the one for you. That being said, I love this show so much! It sheds light on the very real struggles and experiences of POC, and LGBTQ+ people in 1940s America; As well as sexism. It's educational! A League of their Own tells the story of Max, a strong black woman who wants to be a pitcher on a baseball team and is willing to do whatever it takes to achieve her dream; as well as Carson, an awkward married woman who runs off to join the Peaches and changes her life forever. There is SO much more to this show than that, but I wouldn't want to give any spoilers. The only part that is historically inaccurate is the dialogue. characters talk the way we would today, which in my opinion is a good thing because it makes the show easier to understand. Also what is up with all the vague negative reviews? We know you all are homophobes but don't want to say it.

Absolutely brilliant

It's an absolutely beautiful story about blooming love and self discovery and friendship. The plot is flawless, being not too hectic to traumatize you but just enough to keep you on the edge of your seat. The characters are so well written and with so much depth as well as incredible diversity. My new favourite show

Good movie

Really good movie. Makes you want to choose sides. Mild language but nothing really is wrong with it. Some references , but a good movie nonetheless.
