Alright, I'll admit, 4 year olds who haven't seen the original are, of course, going to love this show. Even if the young kids had seen the older version I still think they might like this one better. This newer version is definitely for younger kids though. I grew up with the original and I like it ALOT better. To me, this newer version is HORRIBLE! There isn't much of a story and like Pink1Kitty1Cat said, they strayed away from the original plot. The graphics are also pretty annoying.

In terms of content, this is as clean as it gets. I do have some concerns about the extremely advanced talents of Angelina- she is always acing the performances or whatnot. I mean, I've even seen her doing about 7 consecutive pirouettes. If you don't dance, that is EXTREMELY HARD. I just think it puts too high expectations for little kids to follow. However, the producers got spot-on technique in the routines which is great as technique and posture are 90% of dance. I still gave it the 8up rating because older children will better understand that Angelina ALWAYS has perfect techniques in her performances, unlike people. (I should know all this. I'm a ballerina myself)
