Kid reviews for Archive 81

I like this series a lot but not really scary for a horror, I love the way most of the film was video footage of things. Not really much gore but there is slitting palms and throats but that is about it. There was one scene which was quite disturbing as a woman is possessed then she scratches all the skin on her face off and it’s shows her bloodied face afterwards. It describes how someone broke another persons jaw and stabbed them in the eye with a pin but it’s doesn't show it. Quite a lot of swearing, one characters swears very often. They us f—k and s—t frequently but I think there’s nothing a 13 year old can’t handle in this show.

Awesome show, not as scary as the trailer makes it look. The show is more so unsettling than scary in my opinion and I would consider it to be more in the sci-fi and mystery genres rather than horror. The show doesn’t contain a lot of violence, but there are some more violent scenes including one where a woman tries to scratch her face off. Overall this is a great show and I would definitely recommend it. This show may be more scary for younger children.
