Seems like it's making fun of autism..
I don't know about this show.. but that Nelson kid or whatever seems to be autistic, and not only that but they're making FUN of him. Not cool. I don't know if he really is autistic or what but I'm pretty sure he's got some sort of disability (not that that's a bad thing or anything). But still, really?

bad show
what is happening to disney channel its playing the most stupidest shows. Now this show is on the top 5 worst shows. I watched it once and the girl Ally needs to get over herself. She needs to stop it with the pathetic stage fright. I noticed that she chews her hair and that is soooooo gross and Austin is not a good singer is bad

Seriously Disney Channel?
Worst show they've thought up so far. These people are bad actors and the show is cheesey and boring. There isn't even one funny moment in any episode that's played so far. Reminds me of Bucket and Skinner.

What I think?
I think Austin and Ally is awful because Ally doesn't feel cool and my mom doesn't like Trish because she isn't funny and her outfits aren't cool.Austin very lazy. If I Austin I do some work around here and Dez very dumb and crazy. If I was Dez turn on my brain and don't eat popcon off the floor!

There's no way I could make it without this show! :)
This series has it all, the most astounding messages about expressing yourself, chasing your dreams while you're still young, accepting one another's differences, and, simply, having the time of your lives doing what it is that you love the most. If anyone has anything nasty to say about these kids, keep it to yourself, if you think they're setting such a terrible example for your children, you'd be contradicting yourselves. I love Ally's character, especially, she's got quirks, but, she's such a funny person to be around, and, she obviously supports her best friends to the fullest. She's kind hearted, intelligent, caring, and beyond gifted. She poses as the perfect role model. No language, no violence, no "sexy stuff", consumerism, or anything vulgar like that. Totally squeaky clean! If you don't like it, don't bother watching it and giving it more views, since you apparently dislike it.

It's a Great Show
A lot of people hate this show, but I think its awesome. This is my opinion. Some teens might say there is no romance and that they are just trying to make it okay for younger kids, but if you look at the latest promo, you can see there is a lot of romance (Ally admits she likes Austin). Also in later episodes there is much more romance (Chapters and Choices they kiss). People who say Austin is lazy, he's not. There was an episode where Austin kept on practicing until something actually happened to his voice and had to go to the doctor. Also, even if Austin stole Ally's song, he apologised. I know people always say they like the Old Disney better, but I like the Old Disney and the New Disney. Ally is a great role model because she teaches kids how to play music and once gave lots of instruments to help school. Austin is also a great model because he tried to help Ally by singing to raise money to buy new instruments for Sonic Boom. Also, Austin gave all his money he got from the Helen show to Ally and bought her a new piano and all. Austin also tried to encourage Ally to get rid of her stage fright and tried to get rid of it himself.

BEST DISNEY SHOW I HAVE EVER SEEN!!!
Austin and Ally, in my opinion, is the one of the best disney shows. Phineas and Ferb is probably the only other great one. A.N.T. Farm is fine, its just annoying. Fish Hooks is one of the better ones as well, its just crazy and weird. Jessie is racist and annoying. Good luck charlie is like A.N.T. Farm, fine but really annoying, and the jokes aren't really that funny. Gravity Falls is kind of scary. Shake it up is racist, annoying, and the main characters are horrible role models. On the other hand , Austin and Ally is funny and has great role models. It is an awesome show and I watch it all the time.

Heres what you parents need to know.....
This show does not make fun of Autisim in any way! Are any of you even watching the show? I think not! This is a show about friendship and sacrifices you make for your friends. Its really funny. By the way Austin does steal the song but at least he admits that he stole it. By the way HE DOES HAVE TALENT! I EVEN DOWNLOADED HEARD IT ON THE RADIO! I mean seriously! Its a awesome show is my point. So stop saying Disney was better back then. Thats the past. Just live in the present. The show is funny and the singers are great. Someone said they were 12 but they were 14 when they started the show! And by the way parents... give us some independence on TV. I mean the shows are great. The aren't bad. I saw a parent said that Austin & Ally is the worst show on disney. Have they watched Phineas and Ferb? Just give this show a chance! ~ Julia UPDATE: I just saw a parent say stage fright was pathetic. I have stage fright. Lots of people do. And for that to come from a parent. Now thats just wrong.

Austin and Ally: Surprisingly good.
I'll be the first one to admit that I watched Austin and Ally with my friend with low expectations. They way that Disney has been popping out shows left and right lately automatically made me think that it was going to be like the others. Ross Lynch makes an appealing lead character (Austin) and I'll say that Laura Marano was well-casted as well. (Ally) Typical Disney show about unrealistic teens trying to make it into show business. Nothing original. However, 'Austin and Ally' makes an overall funny and likeable show. (I think half of these reviews have never actually seen the show, they just watched the preview commercials) (Random note: I met Ross Lynch and kissed his cheek. He's cute!)

Pretty Good, but
I like this show, but it could've been more creative. With the jokes and characters wardrobe.

Great Show
To all you losers who hate the new generation of Disney: SHUT UP. No one cares about you. No one cares about what you have to say. The new generation of Disney is as good as it used to be. This show is actually really good, but all these losers make it sound bad. There is no swearing or violence, but with romance, well, let's just say it's almost 100% possible that Austin and Ally will date sometime in the series.
To all you people who hate all the new Disney shows: GET A LIFE BECAUSE NO ONE AGREES WITH YOU!

Austin and Ally feel the music
Good TV telling kids to be themselves and never give up on what they persue. The reason why it dosen't get more stars is that the songs are cheesy. Ally thinks she is a songwriter when her songs are crass.

Typical Disney series is okay for kids
I have very mixed feelings about this show: I find it predictable, but if it's on I'll probably watch it. I don't really have any feelings about it. There is some flirting, but that's about the only thing to worry about. Positive messages about teamwork (because Austin and Ally have to work together) and following your dreams.

Billion hits is what this program is gonna get!
This is such a clean, kid friendly program that I am certain children will fall in love with. Not only does this series present positive messages and terrific role models (Ally Dawson in particular, she's truly a dear),but it teaches kids to have confidence, set goals, and chase their dreams, among several other lessons. No foul language, nothing too violent for viewers, super funny, and a big hit for Disney Channel, check it out!

Just try one episode...
I watched the pilot episode, and I tell you I have not laughed so hard in forever! This is definitely my favorite Disney show, which is saying something because I generally don't like Disney. I think it'll be interesting to see where this show goes in the future, because the characters seem a little repetitive. All in all, I'd give it a thumbs up!

Great, Love it!
I actually love this show. The boy is cute, but it reminds me of my friends who have dreams to become rockstars haha. It's all about Austin's friends who are helping him reach his dreams.
