I never got what was cool about this old Drag Queen chasing guys around? Obviously, someone with the patholgy of a cross dressor or whatever his thing is, denotes mentality of a street walking trans-sexual; the nature of, so to speak. Nevertheless, I just don't get what is interesting or even cool about an old Drag Queen Bounty Hunter named dog? Of course, dog is most likely the accurate word in the whole show.
This is a great show. My kids watch it with us. I think that Dog is a good role modle. Everytime the show comes on my oldest daughter drools over Leland. Good show. Teaches that family sticks together.
Dog the bounty follows the life of Duane Chapman and Da Kine Bailbonds. It shows us what happens to those who assault and use drugs Talk with your kids afterward sand tell them that that cou;d be you if you go in the wrong direction. Language is a problem, but it is mostly bleeped out.
What I love most about this show is that Duane Chapman talks to his bounties. He doesn't just handcuff them and throw them around in the back seat of his big black SUV. He sits in the back with them and tries to get at the heart of why they do drugs or commit crimes. Nine out ten times, the fugitive cries by the time Dog says what needs to be said. I also like the fact that it shows older children what life could be like if you did drugs and got into an illegal way of life. It shows the unglamorous reality of drug abuse. I think these guys are great role models and heroes for young men and women who have an interest in law enforcement.
This family of misfits is an insult to intelligent people. It's all about hair, clothes, lookin' good for the cameras. I really don't care that some of you feel this show has merit. Dog & company know a good thing when they see it. What a waste of air space. And that people find this show relevant, I can only shake my head.
Week after week, hour after hour, can't A & E (and all the stations for that matter) rotate their shows. Would be nice to look forward to watching one instead of "oh no, not that show again!"
Dog is just amazing he doesn't use any scripts or nothing the Camara men just follow his family around. You hatred are just jealous that your not that awesome. Yes beth where's tops with lots of cleavage showing but other than that the swearing it bleeped out and they are catching real people these guys could be your neighbor. Dog doesn't only help him self he helps other people catch there fugitives. The family is very close as they all work together
very good show there is some cussing but alot is bleeped people smoke do drugs but doing drugs is never shown just some drugs themself theirs some violent things dog and his crew don't carry real guns just paintball guns and mace but some other people have guns by the way people dog is not gay or drag
Shows Raw real life situations with Dog and the whole Chapman family being a very close knit and firm believer in justice which should be taught in all schools. The Chapman family do all of this and put their lifes in danger with respect and dignity still alive in their hunted. They show that even though you may have made a bad judgement at some point in your life that YOU CAN turn that around.
It's great to see no scripts and teaching all that watch what REAL life is about, and we all tend to shelter our young with what life is really about.
Turn on the DOG and Chapman Family and learn a thing or two....
A++++
Parents can make up their mind after veiwing a show of which is best in their beliefs and raising their children.
I myself as a parent of two boys tend to want them to an extent learn about what the REAL world is about instead of throwing them out in the REAL world later in life and them being lost.
My mom and I love this show. We think the Chapman's are amazing role models for everyone. A Christian family who help people all over the country. They are the ones who caught Andrew Luster who was convicted of raping eighty-six, eighty-seven women! No one could or would catch this monster. He was part of the Max Factor cosmetic fortune. Dog and his son and friend went to Mexico where he was hiding and caught him and got this horrible person off the streets.
Dog's language may not be the best thing, but put that aside and you have a man who is morally a good person and who loves his family and the criminals he catches. He's tough on the outside, but on the inside, he is a God loving person, good father to his kids. He has proven he can catch the hardest criminals, ones that have been on the run for months!
Okay, the language isn't good, but is completely bleeped out. You see criminals often high on drug, etc. But with all that said, young teens watch this show, just no younger kids at all.
dog the bounty hunter is must to watch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The reason I like watching Dog The Bounty Hunter because someday I want to be a bounty hunter and work with The Chapmans and also Dog makes the streets safe by taking the criminals off the block that are drugs(ice,heroin,etc.).
This show is piped into every trailer in the country
This guy bonds out scum bags and puts them back out on the street. He only goes after the people he bonds out of jail when they skip their court date and he is going to lose his money. If this so called trailer trash bounty hunter was not bonding out crooks he would have no one to chase. So to all of you that think he is doing good think again! He only takes down people he put out on the street.
i luv this show sometimes dogs wife can dress revealing but justice is served and they do pray they use some colorful language but other than that the show is fantastic
Great show. Tries to show that although there are bad people, there are good people who make mistakes. Tries not to be violent (considering it is real life and they don't want to be in fights etc). Does talk about drugs but doesn't show other then smoking. They often let the people they catch take a last smoke before going in to jail.
