Not worth it at any age.
Hate it! The parents are downright negligent, leaving Timmy with a really mean babysitter. They are so negligent, they don't even know the babysitter is mean. They don't ever listen to Timmy - leaving him to require the fairy godparents instead. This show, while it might be entertaining to kids, doesn't really give any positive messages. I don't like any of my kids watching it, even though it might be age appropriate.

Used to be a funny show
I used to think this was a really funny show, but lately the episodes aren't that great. And who is the ParentCenterReviewer who has reviewed this show like 15 times without typing any explantions?

I have NEVER liked this show.
I honestly do not understand all the positive reviews of this cartoon. I do not allow my 8 and 5 year old boys to watch this show if I can help it. This show portrays teachers and babysitters as violent and threatening. The characters are always YELLING very loudly at each other. I don't like the hyper-activity of this show. The whole thing feels very mean to me.

good family cartoon
This cartoon is not only funny, but also teaches lessons in life. This is a great family cartoon and can generate a lot of conversation.

not really good story
I think is not really for kids are 5-7 old to watch, because they need to know nice manner than just way they were watching. I think more older kids who understand that, it kind of scare the 5-7 old scare of the baby sitter for the first time.

Accepting Poor Behavior
I do think Fairly Odd Parents is funny in a Bugs Bunny sort of way. I do not like how Timmy does not respect his parents nor how his parents treat him. At times the lanuages is rather "rude" and not the way you would want your child speaking to you or other people. It's also very loud, it seems like theya re always shouthing at one another. After a while I just want to have some peace and quiet!

Its premise is creative but it's not for young ones.
The Fairly Odd Parents is an appealing show, but parents should be aware of the amount of mature themes it contains. For example,Timmy's parents and Timmy state very long words that have complicated meanings like metabolism. Occasionally, Timmy talks about sex and other mature topics. I'm a 9 year-old boy and I think the show should be for 8 and up.

This show has gone downhill in quality
"The Fairly Oddparents" was once a funny and charming show. Timmy Turner, the main character, was a good-hearted, put-upon kid who badly needed the intervention of fairy godparents. Those godparents, Wanda and Cosmo, were originally a loving and lovable couple - but alas, due to an appalling and incomprehensible decision by the show's producers, Cosmo has been recently been turned into a jerk, especially to his long-suffering wife, Wanda; he insults her, and treats her badly (in one cartoon he thinks she's been murdered, and his only reaction is to regret not taking out an insurance policy on her. When he learns she's alive, he reacts like this: "Well, there go my dating plans.") Wanda, who is the only voice of reason on the show, is labeled a "nag" and victimized on a regular basis. As if this weren't bad enough, both godparents - who are married, mind you - are frequently shown flirting with other people. All this is an apparent (I'm guessing here) attempt on the part of the show's producers to give their show more of an edge; what it's actually done is to rob it of all its worth. I would not let ANY child watch this show's more recent episodes. What a pity to see a once-enjoyable show for all ages take such a steep dive in quality.

My son can't watch this
This show is about parents that are stupid and too self-absorbed to know what's going on with their kid, a babysitter that's a murderous sociopath, and a kid who retreats into a world with fairy godparents because life without them would be too awful. If you want your kids to get the impression that adults are bumbling idiots not worthy of their respect, let them watch this one.

Ok for small children, boring for older kids
This show is very strange and repetitive. Through the entire show, there will be a joke that the character constantly refers to. The main character, Timmy, is an awful role model who is ignorant, selfish, and mean to some children. When he makes a wish, it is often selfish, such as, I wish I had a special race car that only works for me.

Good for kids
I think this is a good show for kids. Even though Timmy is selfish in the beginning of the episodes, he learns a lesson by the end

Way too fast paced to notice the humor!
I was about 10 or 11 when I first saw this show, and I liked it. It was entertaining for me at the time. But looking back on it now, its become, for the most part, very unfunny and just plain dumb. The only time I laugh is the rare instance of adult humor or a clever joke. But this shows biggest problem is that its WAY to fast pace for its own good. you'll often miss some of the jokes and then get a headache! And then theres the constant yelling, the recently poor plotlines, and timmy extremely annoying voice! Please, there are way better childrens shows out there, I recomend you look around a little before waching this.

Not a good show
Fairly Odd Parents isn't a good show at all. It's not even close to being educational. I think it's as bad as South Park. All episodes have violence, and Timmy is a smart-mouthed child that isn't even in puberty yet. Lots of episodes like when Timmy wanted no sound, then at the end he looked stripped. It also has name calling and there's no cursing, but kids use words like "butt," "stupid," and more. Vicky is a sixteen-year-old who wants to kill Timmy. Numerous villians, like Gary, Crocker, the monkey and more. It parodies shows and films like WWE, Star Wars, Jonny Quest, Rugrats, and a lot more. My siblings waste their time and money on that show. Definitely profane. And how can George Washington live that long? How can their automobile go across the Atlantic? And I'm pretty sure Niagara Falls doesn't have a precious pencil sharpener. Of course, Timmy is selfish and lazy, and he always procrastinates until someone tells him to do something. After children watch this show, they would go bazerk. Like "Holy f**ks**t!" and "d**n you!" See what I mean? I don't want your kids to be like this. PLEASE SAVE MONEY.

THIS SHOW ROCKS!
I like this show a lot. Butch Hartman is a great guy. He even has his own character on Family Guy. Even though the series has a lot of immature kiddy humor, there are some parts to the show that are not for kids under six. Sexual Content: In the episode "Fairly OddBaby," Cosmo, a male fairy, becomes pregnant. Violence: Not much violence really, just you average 8 year old stuff. Language: The colorful word "Fagigily Gland" has been used at least 5 times in one episode. In the TV film, Cosmo uses the word "Feces", which is a stronger word for "poop" which is also used in the film. Even though this childrens show has a lot of secrets beneath it, your family will love it.

This is a good show, but can sometimes be a little strange. There is sometimes quite a lot of innuendo, and none of the characters are really upstanding, but I don't care. its funny.
