C.G. is a time traveler from the future, not an alien!
This is an okay show, nothing to bad, but nothing amazing about it, either. The premise is unique, with C.G. facing an ice age a few thousand years in the future, and her having to go farther into the future to find a new home. This article says that C.G. is an alien, but she's not (though that was the original plan, or so I hear) she's a time traveler from the future.
The show is brilliant. It tells you some science information, as well as how to limit energy consumption, protect the environment, and (in one episode)how to be a good leader. But it is also entertaining, and might even provide a little bit of inspiration for young kids. But the best part is that this series has the best voice-over work of any show I have ever seen. Just think how much it improved since earlier shows (e.g. Charlie Brown).
My 7 year old son loves it! It's imaginative and the characters are helpful to one another. Not only is there a positive message but it's kind of funny.
If you're into learning, uplifting problem solving, fun wordplay, funny and delightfully distinct voice acting, and inspiring visuals, this is your show, and certainly a good show for the kids. It's got great potential too!
My 5 (girl) & 7 (boy) year olds love this show. It's futuristic, with space ships and aliens, but with a green message. The kids are sent from the future to find a new planet for the surviving humans to live, due to the Earth dying, I think. It's very cool animation and has a wonderful message about taking care of our Earth. This one we record!
