perfect for teens, boys and girls, and for familys with older children
I love this show so much, i just turned 18 and i am starting to understand alot of things in life, one of them are moral vaules, helping people and doing the right things, this show for sure makes me wanna be a good doer, a plus side ghost have always intrest me because i have seen one.
Although Commonsensemedia claims that sexual stuff isn't an issue, I don't!
Two main characters of the show are sexually close to each other and almost in every episode, they do a lot of kissing and stuff. In some episodes, pregnancy is the main topic which show revolves around and sometimes, bad language is used too.
If you don't want your kids to be exposed to the deep intimacy, you shouldn't let them watch this show.
I have watched the first two shows and, although it is not the greatest writing or acting, I've ended up crying at the end both times. The show could scare some kids because of the supernatural theme. All in all, the main character uses her powers to do good things for both the living and the dead and I think the stories are something many of us can relate to.
I hate that the Big4 networks cannot seem to create more shows with original topics. Seems like, if there is a show that is successful on one network one season, then they all jump on the bandwagon and you can just bet that there will be 3-5 other shows just like it next season. So, for originality, I'd score it a -2-. These producers make megabucks and you'd think they could come up with fresh programs; e.g. LOST, DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES, both of which were introduced last season.
Ghost whisperer is my favourite show ! it is very interesting and you can learn alot from it ! the characters are smart and fun and they make the show better . It has some violence in it and some of the ghosts can look very disturbing but overall it is a good show for teenagers and adults
A goofd person fights off ghosts that try to hurt her and she tries to help them pass on. But there is a lot of stange violence and lots of peril. Mild sexual content. There is not alot of langage but there is some hells and damns.
I've watched the show since the first season, believing it was a scary show. But found in it great detonators for spirituality family talks. Now my 12 year old son watches it... not regularly, as this season is being transmited locally at 5:30 p.m., and some times we're still stuck in homework or errands.
I believe this show is a great way to introduce spirituality to family life with new and very interesting dimentions.
Although there are no real sexual situations, the attire of the main character Melinda are very reveling. She wears very low-cut shirts and dresses that show a lot of cleavage.
Ghost Whisperer, Moonlight, Numbers - what a great lineup on Friday night! I can't wait for reruns to be over and the new season to begin.
I like the whole idea that it's not the end when you die and if you have unfinished business, there's someone that can help tie things up. The whole "ball of light" thing isn't bad either!
