To all the people who thought "Ren and Stimpy" and "Rocko's Modern Life" had too much sexual innuendo... you need to see this. Now, Nick @ Nite has always shown some slightly racy programming ("Fresh Prince", "On the Television", "SCTV", "George Lopez", "Roseanne", "Laugh-In", "All in the Family", "Maude", "Three's Company", "Murphy Brown", and, more recently, "Malcolm in the Middle" and "Everybody Hates Chris"), but this is a whole new level of raunchiness for an alleged "children's network". For a program that is supposed to "bring families together" (in Nickelodeon's words), "Glenn Martin, DDS" is astonishingly racy, violent, and profane. While it's certainly no "South Park" or "Family Guy", it's definitely no "SpongeBob" either. Each episode contains a constant stream of crude, sexual content (references to "rim jobs", "blowing my load", "choking a chicken", strippers, "whores", transsexuals, and so on, and so on), as well as on-screen sexual antics, as well as some surprisingly graphic cartoon violence (including, for example, a naked teenage boy running into the street and having his head graphically crushed by a car, complete with a pool of blood), crude and grotesque humor (one episode has teenage boy Conor getting a job sticking his head inside of an elephant's rectum as part of a circus act, and the audience members are shown projectile vomiting; a used barf bag is later given out as a trophy), and the dialogue is sprinkled with liberal doses of profanity ("d*mn", "hell", "b*tch", "@ss", ect.) Also, many people will be offended by some of the racial and sexist stereotypes, and by the cynical, shallow portrayal of many of the characters. And, worst of all, it isn't funny. It's not even remotely amusing. It's a sad, sad attempt at comedy, and it won't last more than one season. The fact that it's actually shown right after "The Penguins of Madagascar" - and Nickelodeon actually BRAGS about how many young children watch it as a result - is nothing short of saddening. Don't bother, and be warned. Even for an animation buff like myself (who loves "edgy" animation), this is just poor. Go watch The Boondocks.
