One of the funniest takes on cop shows I've ever seen - great writing and super acting. The idea of taking a burned out supercop and allowing him to mentor a younger, straight arrow rookie detective is not new. What is fresh is the old cop's life-is-for living attitude. Parents may want to preview episodes before allowing kids to watch (and then parents will enjoy re-watching with the kids!), but there is little here to damage young minds. Good fun!
