Lame show and inappropriate

This is SO inaproproate!! Its scary and one lady's job is litterally a stripper! I missed most of the show because I had to fast forward so much! It's also SO gory! Fingers are shown bloody and bent at aring angles, a man DYING and a bunch of other scary stuff. And on top of that, it sucks. Its soooooo boring. I nearly fell asleep!!! Dont watch this show, ESCPECIALLY if your a kid

Good, but extremely violent.

The title practically says it all...this show is very violent, what is shown is character's heads being sliced open and brains removed, a ton of blood, impaling, slashing in half, shot repeatedly...and a lot of all of it. Strong stomached teens 13+ can probably handle it, but this is more violence than I'm comfortable with at 14. There is a bit of swearing, the "hell" and "damn" level. Characters will drink alcohol and one character has a drug addiction. There are good role models throughout the show.

Heroes is a pretty edgy show, and in my opinion TV-14 is not a just rating. It contains graphic and disturbing violence, gore and viscera, as well as pretty graphic sex scenes (mostly in season one), which includes the filming of a porn video (no graphic nudity, but still pretty graphic) in the first episode, a brief tape showing two people during intercourse (no nudity, but movement is visible; not too explicit, but still explicit for TV-14), and attempted rape that ends with a stick stabbing the victim through her head. This show can get pretty messed up.

Really developed storyline with gross out blood and gore and gruesome killings, but has a fun tone and good role models.

Heroes is about a group of people who find out they have superpowers, sounds lame right, well it isn't. One of the powers belongs to Niki who has a split personality and when she is in her other personality "Jessica" she can rip people in half, the blood and guts are shown after she has attacked them, so there is some gruesome imagery. Nevertheless, some episodes have sexual themes, not heavy but there is some suggestive material. This should be a fun tv series for 12 and up because of the gruesome, stomach turning violence.
