I watched the first episode with my daughter and she liked. Granted it was a new show to her, but she was into it and I could tell so I decided to Tivo it. To make a long story short, she loves this show! She is only 2 1/2 and she asks for Dora, Barney and Einsteins....recently after having her view a few episodes of Harry, she is now saying Harry. She dances to it and I see her get really into it like when she's watching Dora and the others. I like the lessons and music and think Harry is entertaining. I have read some other reviews about the "street kids" and I want to say that we live in the city, and the kids on this show are just like the kids in the neighborhood. I like this show 1000x more than Manny the tool guy, doodle bops and all the others I've unfortunately had to sit through.
I recommend it and love it when my daughter starts dancing in front of the tv.
I think hip hop harry is the best show out now cant no other show compare to this. I love this show every time i comes on i want to dance. I get mad when it goes off.
HOLY SNOT!!! I just can't believe this show is going to replace Save-Ums on TLC. Yet, I can live with this guy in my life, he's so COOL AND RADICAL (Franny (from Franny's Feet) was only CUTE AND CUDDLY)!!! Barney, your days are oddly numbered!!! The Preschooler Show Universe is getting even COOLER, thanks to Triple-H (Hip Hop Harry)!!!
hip hop your kids will love and can actually listen to and learn!
My two year old is asthmatic, so getting him to take his meds in the morning via nebulizer can be very trying unless we're watching Barney or some other show that can actually manae to capture his attention. One morning we missed Barney and stumbled upon HipHop Harry........ he loved it! He danced on the bed and both he and his 3 year old brother were mesmerized the whole time! Although it's hip hop, it's hip hop for the pre-school set, and it's always educational! I am already looking to buy a few of the dvd's for Christmas! This is a great show to get your kids moving and having fun while also (unbeknownst to them) learning!
I recommend Hip Hop Harry to every child of any background. I am a KG teacher and my students love to watch Harry at the end of the day before they go home. It's up-to-date, educatonal, and just plain fun to watch . So I say GO HARRY !!
My kids and I sing the songs together all day long. I record the shows every morning on my DVR so that my children can watch the show in the morning while getting ready for daycare and school and again when they return home. This is the best show ever! My sons are one and three years old and they love to dance so when the dance parts play they jump up and dance as if they were apart of the show. It is the cutest thing to see in the morning.
