Okay, I think should give the people of this some info before I go into reviewing this, so here goes: As of this post I'm 11, it is 2011, and I have reviewed the following; Digimon: The Movie, Digimon: Digital Monsters, Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky, Plants vs. Zombies, My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic, Foster’s Home For Imaginary Friends, Avatar: The Last Airbender,Spongebob Squarepants, Kappa Mikey, The Chipmunk Adventure, Pokemon 3: Spell Of The Unown, Pokemon: The First Movie, The Lion King, Pokepark Wii: Pikachu’s Adventure, Pokemon Black and White, The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, The Suite Life On Deck, Wizards of Waverly Place, Curious George, Dr. Seuss’ The Cat in the Hat, Improvise Everywhere, Webkinz, Guardians of Ga’hoole, Life After People, The Future Is Wild, How To Train Your Dragon (Bk 1), How To Train Your Dragon, Dan vs., Pokemon Chronicles, Good, now onto the review; I really don't understand why you didn't give it more stars, I mean really, hardly any of the characters *actually* appear in the games, and just about any of the ones that do are on a different side, so knowing the games make this even more confusing, and it seems you have confused a classic narrative mindscrew-making plot device for consumerism. The name of that plot device is; Widget, coming from the way most people pronounce an acronym found on the internet (a lot of important narrative devices went unnamed until TV Tropes) WJT, meaning Weird Japanese Thing. So Yup, this is a big Widget series. Tiff is a great role model, so this would be a great show to watch, if you can find it, because finding an episode intact is something Hera might force a Modern-Day Heracles/Hercules to do.

Silly adults. You make me laugh.
Silly adults. You make me laugh. After reading various reviews, it's clear that you have obviously watched episodes in random order. Kirby is not like other cartoons, where you can just jump in anywhere and perfectly understand what's going on. Not only that, the english version isn't worth watching, I admit it. If you want a good show, watch the Japanese version (Which is the original, mind you). In the english version, personalities are screwed up, voices go from terrifying to squeaky (I mean look at eNeMy, or should I say Nightmare,as is his original name. By Sithis, his voice is gone from deep and scary to gay and rubbery!), certain scenes are taken out, it was basically butchered. So guess what? By A) Watching episodes in random order B) Telling lies about, I.E Disturbing monster appearences (How exactly is a snowman scary?) and finally C) Saying it's not appropriate for kids because it does things that nearly every other cartoon does (OMG TEY PUT DA MAIN CHARACTERS IN PERIL ZOMG AAAAAAAAAAH!), you have proven yourselves dumb, stupid, and idiotic. As the saying goes, think before you speak, or in this case type. And yes, I have thought this over quite well. You'll be suprised how hard it is to deal with stupid people and OMG I SAID STUPID! P.S: OMG VIOLENCE!

This is a very good anime and it is as epic like others such as Soul Eater and Naruto. A great story means so many viewers. Critics just looked at it in a wrong way.

One of the best Nintendo's TV series ever!
Plenty of fantasy violence, but it was also based on the video game series.

Kirby is cute AND substantial!
CSM, I think you reviewed it wrong. Even though it gets a little violent, it's normal for animes. Also, it isn't the show's fault that there are commercials all the time. Lastly, Kirby's done many good things like help the environment. Though, I do like the Japanese version better.

Watch the japanese version. SERIOUSLY. I DONT FREAKIN CARE IF ITS IN FREAKIN JAPANESE. ITS BETTER THAN THE VOICES IN THIS. Ya know, it took them 6 years to air all 100 episodes -_- ' But they got to episode 7 last summer (They started airing again) And then Toei Animations (Original creators) Told them to stop. If you watch, you'll see why. :D 3 year old neighbor watched it since he was two, and he loves it because he can't read yet and he's seen Avatar, and many other PG-13 movies. Same for his brother, who is 6. He doesn't get that much time on the computer, and can't go on youtube, so he enjoys watching the "Cappy New Year" DVD. They kept kirby's voice :D POYO, POYO!

No one takes Kirby the right way.
Kirby: Right Back at Ya! is a very underrated show. Mostly because the people who rate it have only watched one or two single episodes. I think this show is amazing and has great plot development if you watch it in order. 4kids did a pretty good job on it, considering other cartoons. I am thirteen years old; I do not lie. Kirby is a very adorable character which has an adventure per episode. Most of these adventures give you a little moral that is hidden in the episode; you have to know what they're doing. Such as jealousy gets you nowhere. There are also a few plot twists. Sure, monsters may be there in the cartoon, but come on; they're not the creepy crawlies that give you nightmares. No kid would have a nightmare, as Kirby defeats all of the monsters he opposes. And if your child is afraid, you can take advantage of this by teaching them that fiction is different from reality. There are even some episodes telling you junk foods aren't good for you! Kirby: Right Back at Ya! is a GREAT show. Don't even think about scary voices and no plot advancement at all. There's always the jokes that adults catch on, too. My dad cracks up at some of the puns made in the dubbed cartoon. Kirby: Right Back at Ya! is exactly as the creators wanted it. For kids, and adults. Thank you for reading this review. I may not be an adult, but I swear, children absolutely CANNOT be afraid of the fun and enjoyable adventures of Kirby and friends. I started watching the show at nine years old and have never faltered from it at all. The horrible review here scared me out of my wits as Kirby is not a bad show at all! Macey McCormick

Watch the Original
First, I'd like to say that if an anime is based on video games but doesn't put blatant advertisements and has a great story, it's bound to be good. Hoshi no Kaabii does the lack of blatant advertisements (besides the fact that it's about Kirby), but the story is cliched. I'd like to say that a rare amount of fan fiction for the show is better than the actual show itself, which is decent, but there's better shows out there... which is why I write fan fiction for the show in the first place. When 4Kids dubbed the show, the show became a train wreck. They unnecessarily removed any mentioning of the plot and made it a repetitive, annoying, and corny show. The titles of the episodes, the character's names, and all of that are basically puns that do not humor any soul, and the awful voices gun down the show even more; and Kirby is pointless in both versions unless he's saving the day from a demon beast (monster). My opinion? Write a fan fiction that makes Hoshi no Kaabii seem more substantial. If not, watch the original with English subtitles, and stay away from the dub.

So weird it's funny
Weird yet hilarious. However, in the Channel DDD episode, Meta Knight tells Tiff, Tuff, and Kirby to infilterate the brodcasting headquarters while he distracts the guards. BUT he isn't seen for the rest of the episode. Gee, I wonder what that distraction was... O.O

Reviews don't match my opinions at all.
Wow. These reviews are totally confusing. How can something packed with action be... "empty pink fluff"? I mean, of course, the review is right, it may be a little confusing to those who aren't familiar with the video game its based on (I think its based on Knightmare in Dreamland), but after watching some more of the show you'll understand. And also, frequent commercial breaks? Blame that on the channel showing it not the show itself! Also, th show does get a tidbit repetitive because the ending is usually the same: "Yay! You've saved us all Kirby!" but twists and turns in the main length of the show counter that. And, now, (since I can't think of anything else to type) I would like to make one correction: KIRBY IS A SUBER TUFF PINK PUFF NOT A BORING FLUFF!!! WHY? CAUSE HE ROCKS!!! P.S. DeDeDe is my fav though. :)

Lighten up.
What's up with the one star rating?! Crappy Disney Channel shows get high ratings but you give this horrible treatment to Kirby?! Why?! The messages are typical kid's show messages, and there are plenty of likeable characters. Obviously there's going to be fighting bad guys - it's Kirby. But I have a feeling whoever reviewed this didn't know anything about Kirby and expected something light and fluffy with no meaning at all... ¬_¬ It's very cute while being action packed at the same time. Although I must say, the English version isn't nearly as good as the original Japanese (I can't take Meta Knight seriously with a Spanish accent). So if you can, watch the original version. It's good, Kirby flavored fun. It is a little corny, but in a good way. It gets 4 stars: nearly perfect!

KIRBY ROCKS!!!!!!!
I feel bad when people insult Kirby. Since that I'm Japensese/Chinese/Native Indian/French, I watch Hoshi no kaabii. That means Kirby of the Stars. The theme song of Hoshi no Kaabii is so cool.

I LOVED Kirby when I was 9 and when I was 10. There are some monsters like Bellybuster (A giant pie that attacks u), Blocky (A giant block monster), and Max Flexer (An evil fitness trainer). The "Fitness Freak" episode got on my Mom's nerves because the excerzing song was annoying. Also, when Kirby sings at the end I was "Holy crap, that dude is a bad singer!:". The creatures aren't scary at all, heck, I actually liked them cuz I have always been interested in the fantastical from Neopets to Pokemon to L&S Experiments, so the show is perfect for me! If u let yer kid watch shows like "MAD" and "AAAHH Real Monsters" this show is definently appropriate for them. It is a lot less violent than popular kids show like "Invader ZIM" (Which by the way, I LOVE Gir), so it is very good, :).
