I loved the show but feel the violence is over the top for kids. Every other show has torture scenes...do we think this is ok? All arguments are solved by fists and guns, not a very positive message, and gruesome. My 12-year old is begging me to let her watch-don't know what to do. She can probably sort the values out herself, but the images are just plain gross.

This has got to be my all-time favorite show. Ever since I was introduced to it when I was 12, it's been my favorite. Theres an extremely diverse set of characters that come from all backgrounds. The characters are courageous, and they stick together to help each other out. It's a very suspenseful show, and every episode surprises me with something I never expected to happen. For people who like a little scandal, there's lying, cheating and decieving, but they always come together and understand each others' problems. All teens will definitly enjoy this show, and adults will love it too. Younger children will have a hard time following what's happening, but it's still great for everyone.

Again, another stupid television show that's got the lamest plots and tries so hard to be "sophiscated" when it fails miserably. It doesn't make sense to me why people watch this, but oh well, it's your braincells you're wasting. Better shows to waste time with: Life On Mars, and Doctor Who- both shows are wonderfully written, which is not what I can say about this TERRIBLE insult to my intelligence.

I think it is a very addicting and fun to watch show, but it also has a lot of problems. Lots of violence, blood, gore. It has scary scenes, there was a side character with a bad drug addiction to heroin, it cusses frequently (not harshly, but frequently).

I am so addicted to Lost!!! I wasn't allowed to watch it when it first came out (with good reason) since I was like 11 or so at the time, but by the time I was 12 I was watching every episode. It is mysterious, sad, uplifting, romantic, and somewhat scary although I think the show has lost most of it's fear factor since the first episodes. there is a lot of bad stuff in it, not so much innappropriate to be watching, but just in the sense that the morals they teach on the show can be very messed up. for instance, about 1 out of every 2 people on the show is a murderer. That's not to say that there has never been innappropriate stuff on the show though. there is plenty of violence including a couple episodes incluing torture, drugs, and sex, including sexual tension between two of the leads, Kate and sawyer. I think one of the worst things is the drug use. however, they do not glority it at all, instead making the harsh reality of drug addicts known. One of the reasons I'm so addicted is because I always am waiting to find out who Kate is gonna pick, Jack or Sawyer. There is so much chemistry and passion btween the leads and it's very addicting. I Dont think the third season was as good though. Must see 13+

Exciting and gripping, but not for kids under 11 because of the violence that may scare them. Lost makes you question things and try to find out the answers to the past and about the island.
