(just read)
I watch this show after school when I eat my snack sometimes, usually for about ten or twenty minutes until a better show comes on. I'm 13, this show is probably suitable for the 5 to 9 bracket(sp?). I think it's really stupid but it's a charming show that many younger kids would enjoy. The two main characters are twins, and, I find great entertainment in the fact that Miguel (spanish for Michael) shares a name with my own twin (Michael). Too bad I'm not named Maya! :D In their attempt to make the show racially diverse the makers seem to have moved a bit backwards. They have, like, one white, one black, and one chinese character and all the rest are latino. And they speak SO MUCH SPANISH! Do you want your kids to learn Spanish? If you do, then this is pretty good, but you can't understand a lot of what they say. It's annoying. But parents can eagerly allow their children to watch this nice little show after school with no worries.

Really great!
This show is really fun and the lessons in them are brought out in a cool or funny way unlike those other shows like barnye or dragon tales when it's all kiddy. All of the charecters are different which makes this a great show. It's also funny.

WHY 6+
Why did you rate this 6+. Cybercase shouldn't be rated 6+ either. But cybrchase should be rated 6+ more that Maya &Miguel. I mean come on! Phineas and Ferb is rated 5+, and do you think Maya & Miguel should be 6+ if Phineas and Ferb is 5+.

I HATE MAYA'S EXAMPLES
hate it hate it hate it! ! ! ! ! Maya-a psycho girl with some real mental issues. The characters are drawn wierd. Miguel-I praise him for resenting Maya's ideas, though he ends up agreeing with her. But in the end, HATEIT HATEIT HATEIT!!!!!!!!!!

Good
I like this show OK. But I like the diversity (the main characters are Spanish), and Maya and Miguel get along better than most siblings on TV. Everyone learns a lesson, so it's a good show. It also teaches a little about the Spansih culture.

This will only make your kids crazy.
To Sum it up, its like to extremely shallow Hispanic twins, that go and do stupid things to make you laugh or something. Maya usually comes up with a "foolproof" idea which is not only denying their own common sense, but could MORE OFTEN THAN NOT get them arrested. Its kind of one of those shows where your stomach ties itself into a knot because its so hard and embarrassing to watch. The thing is, they usually end up realizing that what they did was wrong and it gets really mellow dramatic by the end, not that they wouldn't do it again in a heart beat.
