i LUV this show i have never missed an episode plus what is so bad about a gay couple kissing its not like you child doesnt know what gay means or anything
I love this sitcom. It is about a modern family, including a "normal" family, a gay couple, and a couple where one is middle-aged and one is young. It is very funny, but has some suggestive dialogue. There is some language, but nothing a preteen can't handle. There is a bit of sexual content, in some episodes more than others, but for the most part, this show is not all that bad.
I really love this series. It is very funny and it is incredibly true. The issues the family struggles with are very relevant, and I think the show is just plain awesome.
I think Modern Family is a great show for 10 and up. You get a funny, extremely realistic inside view on different "modern families" in America. It is also a great way to bond with your family, because it is a show everyone can enjoy. There is some sexual content, but barely any. The kids walk in on the parents having sex, but that is actually the most inappropriate thing I have seen on that show, and you couldn't see anything anyway. Besides, in this case, it was a true act of love between two people, not a low hookup like on Jersey Shore. This show is one of the best that has come along in years. If I was a parent, i wouldn't be concerned.
Awesome show!!! It does use a bit language, but is great in all!!! It has some sexual content. 3 kids walk in on thjeir parents having sex. Only glimpses are shown of skin, though man is grasping womans buttocks, pushing her into him. A 13 year old girl is told to get a bra for her 'boobies', and there is a gay coupleAlso, a 17 year old gives his girl friend a picture of them having sex that lights up...
I think that it's hillarious with funny jokes and episode plots. I love it how they three completely different families in one family together. This is a seriously hillarious show that I am extremely happy I didn't miss out on! The sexual content is just a few innuedos between characters occasionally, and a talk about teen pregnancy and breast feeding in the first episode, which was awkward for me and my mother to watch, but it only happened once. The language is simple words that are easily overlooked "hell", "d**n", "b**ch","gay",and things that gays are called in offense to them. The drinking is just wine every once in a while, which, you know, is expected. Also, some violence also not too noticeable, like a man shooting his son with a toy gun (as punishment) then accidentally shooting his daughter's boyfriend. The positive messages are although this family seems dysfunctional, it has love and caring and getting along, which I personally adore. Also, good role models like Manny's mother who wants her "two favorite boys" to get along. This show will go over MANY children's heads and some young, immature, tweens possibly, so mature tweens & up should be the only ones able to watch "Modern Family."
i love this show! its my favorite (other then victorious)! some parts can be a bit inappropriate for under 12-13 year olds, but it always has a good message by the end of each episode, and it very funny and entertaining.
Best show on television my whole family including my 8 year old sister can all sit down and watch this. The language isn't that bad and just a great family show overall.
My mom cries at the end of every episode. lol
It is a very funny show that the networks need to make more of. It's side-splitting hilarious, and has some fantastic messages about family. Although, some families may be offended by a gay couple in the show. (They are hilarious)
I'm a 15 year old girl and some of you parents need to pull that stick out of your butt. This show is silly and not everything has to be taken so seriously. So what if there's a gay family portrayed? How does that affect your life? You act like being gay is the worst thing a human can be. This show isn't about being gay. This show is about love; between couples, between friends, and, of course, between family members. Love is love, and love isn't wrong.
