Enjoyable for older teens and adults that like this genre
I would not recommend this for children under 14 or 15 because of the violence. But, for the vampire genre some violence is expected -- although they could be less graphic. I enjoy the lighting, the stylishness of the show, the development of the characters, the romance and angst, the attractive actors, and the pure escapism of it.
The series is great, it follows two main people Mick St. John and Beth Turner. Mic is a vampire whom never wanted to be and Beth is a girl whom he is starting to have feelings for. We watch the relationship grow as the two constantly meet up when Beth is writing news articles while Mic is doing his private eye work. Great, btw I do not care for Josh.
Don't expect this to win any awards, but it is hard to not like this show. There are a lot of rather goofy moments and a couple of cheesy lines every once in a while, but overall it is incredibly entertaining and is what I look forward to most on a Friday night.
