The idea is nice, but the situations are sometimes outrageous. There is also a disrespect for authority figures and teachers. There is also kissing and crushes but nothing, like sexy.
Great, Positive, show gives out tips for school - great for kids.
Ned is a middle school kid who has started a survival guide for school. Most people would think it's dumb, but it's not.The guide gives out tips for situations such as fashion, best friends, the first day, dances, etc.One episode talks about crushes and Ned sometimes ask girls out on dates, so the sex is mild, very mild enough for 5 year olds.Language, never gets worse than ''Butt'' and ''Stupid''.This would be more popular with tweens then kids, mostly younger. This is a great live action show, not perfect, but great. If you're looking for a family show with a lot of positive sides, turn this on now.
It's a great show, and really funny! There's a little kissing and talk of dating, and some physical bullying, but anyone over 7 can probably handle that. I only rated it "on for 9+" because of one reason: When I was six, I started watching this show. I took EVERYTHING on it seriously, like that bullies were always dressed that way and mean girls were always girly girls and all the advice that was suppose to be funny.
So as long as you or your kid can take a joke, handle a little kissing, and a tiny bit of voiolence, you can watch it!
I loved this show when I was younger and it's good for kids older than 7. There is some flirting and violence, but it's nothing major. Good show for young kids!
This show is awful. They offer advice to middle school kids, when in truth it's advice for surviving the fourth grade. It's ridiculous. It's so random and they TRY SO HARD to be random that it's painful to watch. I watch the News before I go on that show. It's a pathetic attempt for a comedy/advice show. DEGRASSI has more advice than the show that was actually MEANT to give advice in the first place. If I want to survive middle school (which I don't/I'm almost done with/don't need), then I'll go on the internet before I turn to this show. Nobody acts like that in middle school. We're not idiotic spazzes like Ned and his friends. Gordy is ridiculous (does he know that the assistant principal CANNOT fire him? For the love of God.) The show has no educational value except for the random scene where they're doing a project, or Ned gives tips about projects, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera. This show isn't funny, and even when it came out when I was in fourth or fifth grade I didn't even like it. Even THEN I got no advice from it.
And to make matters worse, they put THIS on TeenNick! (Along with True Jackson, Big Time Rush... and the TROOP!)
A classic Nickelodeon sitcom; perfect for kids, tweens and teens~
Ned's Declassified is your average tween sitcom about school life. It follows the wacky shennanigans of Ned Bigby, a middle school boy with a talent for giving good advice. As the different adventures take place, Ned offers tips for making it through a lot of the academic and social challenges that kids can run into at school. The show is pretty fast moving, and has totally cheesy special effects, which I personally feel adds to the fun of the show. All of the characters are totally eggagerated versions of the kinds of people you can encounter at school. There's always a morale that's learned at the end of each episode. All in all, the show is harmless, and actually quite funny if you give it a chance. Also, as a side note- to the people below who have been complaining about the so called "inappropriate language" in this show, let me tell you: THERE IS NONE!! When they said d*ck, they were referring to the classic book MOBY D*CK, which is about a WHALE. D*ck is not just a slang word, you idiots. It has multiple meanings, and not all of those meanings are explicit. I mean, honestly. Do you think Nickelodeon would ACTUALLY condone sexual slang on a kids' show??
I LOVE THIS SHOW!!!! ME, myself, keeps a journal for my tips, and stuff, but, I think it would be cool to keep a survival guide too. I try to keep lots of memories and lists, so this was the show for me!!!!!!!! Nothing is bad about this show!!!!!!!!! Some people were saying that it was bad, but it's not
This is one of my favorite shows, really funny, but I can't agree with CSM's review. There is mild romance, such as dating and kissing. There is also some peril involving bullies and other forms of comedic violence. Other than that, the tips are helpful and the show is entertaining.
Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide is funny and entertaining. I love the show because it shows kids how to improve studying skills and make space on they're schedule it also teaches you how to deal with everyday middle school problems, for example school dances, upcoming test's, school bus, lockers and such. The show doesn't only teach you how to survive middle school but is very funny and entertaining. I recommend it to kids who are entering middle school. Of course some of the charecters mess up but thats to make the show interesting but they always find a easy and useful way out of the problem. I honestly love the show. Thanks for reading and remember to stand grand!!!
Obviously this show makes Middle School look a lot more fun and dramatic than it is. I hated Middle School. This show is perfect for sharing laughs with the whole family.
This is an entertaining show, but it's WAY too unrealistic. Middle school is nothing like how it is portrayed in this show. It could give younger kids going into middle school unrealistic expectations.
