Teaches compromise...that's a skill is valuable throughout your entire life in every aspect.
A random episode started playing on YouTube for my daughter. We both watched it together. I was impressed right of the bat. The white background removes all the over stimulation, and places focus on the actual character interaction. I can't stand shows that show life like it's all butterflies and meadows. That confuses kids when they suddenly face conflict with differing personality types like in day care. It's nice to see a show that displays real life personality differences overcoming conflict in a way that maintains a proper outcome via compromise. It might even teach a few parents how to handle their own kids differing personalities and speak to them in a calm way that helps them get their kids to come to their own conclusion of conflict management where compromise is made. I get weirded out by the parents screaming at their kids in the grocery isle....plus the big bonus for me is this show is actually Jammin!! I find myself dancing to the music. This is the first show my daughter watched that doesn't start to drive me crazy after 10 minutes in. I was shocked when I did my research and discovered it had ever been canceled. Me and hubby went to the store to buy my daughter a Pocoyo toy set....and NOTHING. Cocomelon galore(vomit)...but no Pocoyo.

Child reasoning development
We watch it on the original European-Spanish setting. I love the problem solving and interpersonal skills the show portrays! The characters sometimes make mistakes, as our kids and even sometimes ourselves do, but I love who they end up realizing it and do their best to correct it. I also love how the narrator doesn’t tell the characters what to do. Instead he asks them questions to lead them to make conclusions on their own; something I think will be useful for my son as he gets older.

First few seasons are great
The first few seasons of this show are great -- Stephen Fry narrates, the stories are sweet, moderately paced, short, and fun, not at all frenetic and annoying. The later seasons get kind of weird, move too far away from the basic interpersonal conflicts, and have a different (and rather annoying, IMHO) narrator... and have brought in a new character. Normally I'd be happy that they evened out the girl-to-boy ratio of the characters by bringing in another girl, but since I don't like these later seasons I was hoping to secretly swap back to the older ones... but with the new character (who my son adores), I fear he'll notice if I make the change. Drat!

Favorite show for preschoolers
I love that show. It was my oldest son's favorite, and now it's my youngest's favorite as well.
Not only the characters are extremely cute and that the narrator (Stephen Fry) is amazing, but it has great messages, delivered in a way that younger kids can really understand, and it boosts their imagination.
One of the best TV shows out there.

It's cute looking.
Despite being a Spanish cartoon it looks very similar to cute Hello Kitty style Japanese cartoons. It even has a tentacle monster named Fred. It's really cutesy but it's definitely for the 2 and UNDER crowd. Pocoyo can be bratty but it's not as bad as Caillou and at least the narrator guides him to do the right thing.

For 3-5 year olds!
Love it! You follow this boy around as he has fun (acting like an acculal 3 year old) with his imaginary friends. I would recommend it any little kid, who needs a little bit of fun in their life!
