I absoloutly LOVED this show. The fab five is funny, quirky, and sweet. I love the colored and LGBTQ+ representation (Im trans and panromantic) There are some jokes about s!x and some swearing, but nothing too bad.

Good show!
I love the fab five! I watched this TV show with my two younger brothers (6 and 8yrs) they don’t understand the sexual references and certain words or concepts. The show occasionally tackles deep concepts, nothing to bad. Over all it’s a good show!

So amazing!
I love this show. It really shows the impact of homophobia and it puts the LGBTQ+ community in a beautiful light. Also, it is not stereotyping at all. They are gay, therefore if they make jokes about gay people, they are not homophobic. Also, some people think that if they are trying to get them to date someone of the opposite gender, they are just assuming that they are straight, but this is not the case. As you can see at the start of every episode, they have a list of information about the person. If that person is openly gay or lesbian or bisexual they do say so. This show is funny and inspiring and heartwarming and I think that everyone should watch it. The only reason I rate it as 11 plus is that they tend to make jokes about sex or can swear (not in an angry way, more like in comic shock or amazement) and so on and also that the things some people have been though can upset younger viewers. Really inspiring to anyone, gay or not.
My ratings are:
Positive messages: 4/5 (they tell you to be your best self. However, they can encourage showing off your body…ect.)
Positive role models: 5/5 (They are successful, kind, empathetic young people who have gone through racism and homophobia but despite that still help people to live their best lives and accept themselves for who they are. They set an example for everyone, gay or not. If that isn’t a positive role model, I don’t know what is.)
Sexy stuff: 3/5 (there is flirting and references to sex and looking sexy. Nothing graphic though.)
Drinking, drugs, smoking: 2/5 (they talk about drinking a glass of wine or sake at the end of the day.)
Consumerism: 2/5 (it is a reality show, so no brands are made up, but they don’t advertise them)
Swearing: 3/5 (they do swear in shock and use s**t and f**k)

Beautiful
This show is incredible! It deals with multiple topics important to understanding the LGBTQ+ community, (I'm biromantic and bigender). This show is awesome and really fun to watch- show does contain swearing and sexual references, but it wasn't intended for kids-mature teens and adults.

This show is one of my all time favourites! There is a bit of -censored!- swearing, and a few sex jokes, but if your kid is mature, then it really isn’t a problem. The fab five are so positive and uplifting! They are also great role models for anyone going through a thought time, and mainly queer youth.

Queer Eye: More than just a makeover
I think queer eye is fine for anyone over 11. I mean it depends how mature your kid is. I love it, it’s gay, hilarious and amazing (like me) must watch. There is a little bit of swearing and some sexual references and jokes but that’s it. If you’re worried about your kid watching it, an idea is to watch it together or watch it before they do to see if you think it’s ok!

great themes some adult jokes
if you want to expose your children to wholesome shows with positive themes the Queer Eye is great. however if you have a kid who is staring to learn about stuff (9-12) and you don't want them being exposed to adult jokes comments and conversations you should not let them watch this show because there are adult comments . I also think that if your an adult watching this and a younger (kid 2-8) wants to watch it with you its probably ok to let them watch with you because they wont notice any of the adult jokes.
