Watch ABC in 2009
"Scrubs" will be moving to ABC in 2009. Many people thought the show was canceled after the NBC finale in May, but ABC announced it would carry the show starting in 2009. For those who have yet to see the show, it's good, but beware of the sexual content. That's the reason why the show used to be rated TV-14 on NBC. When the show aired it's final episodes on NBC, and moved from 9:30 to 8:30, it started becoming rated TV-PG. Now, since all ABC sitcoms are rated TV-PG, I would assume that "Scrubs" would keep the TV-PG rating when it moves to ABC next year. Here's my ratings for the show: all episodes before the last NBC episodes--"pause" for 15+; the last NBC episodes--"pause" for 13+.

I LOVE THIS SHOW!
This is a family comedy in my house. We all sit down watch these DVD regularly. This show has the best message any show I watch gives: Friends are everything. Do anything you can for your friends. That's how I have always lived. It's a shame this show is so unpopular and is only hanging by a thread when it comes to being taken off the air by NBC. Anyway, the only issue with this show is sex. Sexual humor is a regular issue with the show and brief nudity has occured on the show before, all from The Todd who is the hospital pervert.

SCRUBS
This is a good show for teens to watch. It shows them that ya when you get older that you will have to work but why not make it fun. It also shows them that not everyone is going to be nice to you. There is quite a bit of sex sence in some of the episodes.

Lots of Sexual Suggestions
Not appropriate for kids under 15. The show is entertaining. However, tonight, my daughter was watching the show, and I stepped out of the room. Later, she asked me what "an organism" is. She told me that she heard the word on Scrubs. Therefore, I strongly caution parents to think twice before their kids watch the show &/or to watch the show with their kids.

Good humor
It's a funny version of er. There is some sex in there but it isnt a real big deal. I love their goofy antics! OH and language isnt bad either. Elliot(one main charecter always says things like frick (for the f word) and for sexual terms she always pressures them that she can only hear things like icky sticky.

Fun stuff
This is a funny show. Some jokes may go over kids' heads, but there's nothing nasty about this show. Just sheer goofiness, in my opinion. It's safe to watch in front of kids, I think.

Not worth your time
Yes, it's a comedy, but it's not particularly funny...especially for children under age 15 (or 16). I don't think its adult situations are appropriate for children.

I would say kids over the age of ten could basically watch Scrubs. The material may be a little iffy for the ages ten to twelve, but it should be acceptable. younger children, as to eight and under should not be watching it. Now, the maturity of eight year olds and under are lower then ten year olds, because ten year olds learned about puberty already. The show "Scrubs" is got very mild sexual references, intact, most of them don't have any. The language in all the episodes are very mild such as, "crap", "hell", or "shut up", that would be okay for ten year olds. Just to have you know, I've already got at least seventy three people that agree with me.

Amazing.
This show is, by far, one of the funniest shows on TV. JD's narration and imaginative daydreams bring a new level to the show; it's like you're seeing it from his point of view, though the narration does sometime switch between characters in some episodes. Alcohol/Drugs - JD often makes remarks aobut his trademark appletinis - his favorite drink at the local bar. Other than that and a few beers every once in awhile, it's pretty clean. Sex - Lots of sexual innuendos and implied sex. Some of it will go over kids heads, but other stuff won't. I'd suggest a 12 and up because of this. Language - Damn and crap are used regularly, as are bitch and hell. This would give it the 13-and-up rating - though I was watching Scrubs at the age of 11. And as for the whole lightbulb-up-the-butt patient - why would parents get angry about that? I think I would've died laughing if I was eight and I saw an x-ray of a lightbulb up someone's butt.

Hilarious!
Scrubs is really funny. The acting is good, and a lot of things that happen are very realistic. However, I really dislike all the sex. Not like I've never heard of it before, contrary to many adult's beliefs, but it gets kina gross. But overall, it's a really good show, with lots of laughs!!! :)

FUNNY
This is great, anybody ages 10+ should understand all the jokes, overall, a funny good show with the occasional drink in a bar, and sex. Violance isn't really that bad. It's a great show.

An ok show
It is a good show, that is most episodes. There are a few realy tuching episodes, for example "My Old Lady", and there are also a few very sudgestive episodes (I personaly don't watch these episodes), for example "My Sex Buddy". I like the clean episodes, and if I go off of that it is a good show. But if I go off of the sudgestive ones it is a terrible show. So there must be a balance, it is a show for more mature people, I would not recomend it for younger folks. But I would recemend it for older teens and adults. You have to see it to judge it for your self. ps-the reson I gave it the score I did is because I like the good episodes.

This is a really funny show
This shhow is rated 14+... There are people that review these shows and rate them so you don't have to look at sites like this! Cmon, this show is really funny and if your 14 year old isn't the type of kid that says 'hey, that's a good idea: I should do that sometime," why would you not let them watch?

BLAH
Scrubs is one of my favorite shows because it always seems to match my mood. it can be hilarious, sad, and a milletena of other things. I wouldn't worry TOO much about your kids watching this because take it from me, if they're mature enough to watch it and like it, they're usually mature enough to handle the content because they realize that u can't walk outside, listen to music, or quite recently go to work without seeing drugs, violence, and sex advertised on billboards, bumper stickers and many other things. If they're not mature enough yet then you've got nothing to worry about. I dislike overbearing parents and think that you should prepair your child for the real world, and you know what that includes.
