long live SONIC XXX!
Only watch the 4Kids dub if you want to get killed.
Ignore my old review on this show. The reason I said that was because I haven't seen the awesome, uncut, Japanese version! But Chris and Cream are SUPER ANNOYING!
I love Sonic x it educaional cuz sonic tall you "Kids don't use formula one racing cars to chase hedgehogs!" lol i like the couples like Taismo Sonamy Knouge XD i loooooooove this show Some times it a little to violent cuz Sonic and eggman

4kids dub is ok for younger kids but Japanese version is better.
I'm not a big fan of the 4kids dub but it's better for younger kids then the Japanese version(which is a lot better) ex:in Japanese version Sonic says s--t.
Violence:
Every episode has one scene of violence in it at least. No blood. The max violence is where an island is exploded during a jailbreak. Some characters may use some threatening gestures, lines, and they also do give threatening faces.
Inappropriate Behavior:
One character wears a very inappropriate plate. Another character (Amy) has a very obvious crush on another character (Sonic). A popular actress wears tight clothes (mainly whenever she is being filmed for a movie, which is not in many episodes).
Language:
No bad words, though in the japanese, there is some swearing.
Noticable Product Placement:
It is based on the Sonic the Hedgehog series (comic books, older shows, and the unforgettable games).
Positive messages:
It has a nice amount to say about the values of friendships, and what they mean. You can also talk about what each character's motives are behind what they do (daily). You can also talk about importance of family, what it means to you, and being willing to forgive (chris's parents are rarely able to see chris, which is a good example). Not all characters are positive role models (one person always has to brag, and the president's aid got fired for attempting a 'publicity stunt'), but every character has at least one positive trait in them. give it a chance!
Even though I love Sonic the Hedgehog, Sonic X was just boring to me. Most of the characters act out of character, not all that much honestly happens, and of course... they had to add Chris Thorndyke. Without him, the show couldve been a lot better, but, its not. Oh, and did I mention its dubbed by everyones FAVORITE anime dubbing company, 4kids? ... yeah. In case youre fortunate enough to not know about the terror that is 4kids, basicly they take any decent anime (except this one, Sonic X just sucked in general) and mess it up beyond what your mind can take. They take out any Japanese kanji, any words in general, sometimes even in English, and they destroy the voices... and since theyre just complete jerks, they make those their new voices in the actual games. Dont believe me? Watch an episode of the 4kids version of One Piece, I think thats their worst one yet... and thats saying a lot.
Fun, but be careful of what version you're watching
This show is amazing, for what it is. At first, I was a total fan, but after a while the plot lines for each episode get dreadfully similar and every single character becomes extremely repetitive.
One thing to keep in mind about this is it's a Japanese anime. The original Japanese version was edgier and had cursing. The series was then modified to fit the kid-friendly standards of the American channel it was aired on.
As far as the action goes, it's completely full of it. The battles are bloodless and the good guys generally win, but the writing is so simple that the show gets too predictable.
Take note, there are more than one versions of this. The 4Kids dub in English is much more kid-friendly and many scenes were thus deleted. Language ("ba**ard", "son of a b**ch" "sh*t", ect) and some suggestive diolouge and scenes were removed. For kids, the English dub is great. For teens or mature kids 12+, you can see the Japanese version with English subtitles on the internet.
Sonic X is a show which every 7+ year old should watch. Sure, there's fighting, sometimes between the main characters, but it is usually something like saving the town where Sonic and Chris live. It's really funny, and parents who are unsure should watch it with thier kids and see how harmless it is. I still watch it, and i'm 11!
OMG I LOVE THIS SHOW but as seen on youtube there was an s word incident while saving Cream But what da heck you are saving a 6 YEAR OLD GIRL FROM POSSIBLY VILE TREATMENTS The "Kids don't use formula 1 cars to chase hedgehogs!" is really funny Cream is adorable and fell in love with her THE MOMENT I SAW HER! I created a accerate Friend Loyalty Test from this! Would you rather go to a party with the president with a tv crew and evrything, or go out with a friend who is in a wheelchair and fulfill her lifes dream! This is no Cartoon Crap people its better than all those horrible cartoons!
Fine for younger kids, but won't hold the interest of anyone else
I'm going to be perfectly frank here. This is a kid's show, and for a kid's show, it isn't too bad; though certainly not on par with Avatar, it's far better than bile like Yu-Gi-Oh. As a young child of 9 or so, this was one of my favorite shows and held my interest quite well before I turned 11 and found that I preferred shows for teens or adults. However, here's the thing: the show is much too juvenile for anyone much older than that. Parents and older siblings will be bored to tears. The characters are two-dimensional and lack depth; any appeal they may have comes from their powers or appearance. The plotlines sometimes seem nonsensical due to the show's tendency to forget to fill you in on the games' lore. Most of all, the dialogue is pretty poor. This will do fine for really young children, but around age 10 or so, you may want to try introducing them to some shows that, though still fairly tame, skew towards an older audience, like the first season of Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
The only beef I have with Sonic's character is that he can't go one second with saying anything smart alec. Kids DO copy him. I knew a kid in my second grade class who thought he was a Sonic fan (I was a MUCH bigger one) who would say things like he was Ryan Drummond (badly of course) such as, during kickball: 'Stay outta my way or I'll run ya over!' Then when he was out, he was too stubborn to go back to the line so we kicked him out. He would wear clothes with Sonic on them everyday, and it shames me that he thinks he is a fan. I knew a real fan, though! She is now in my 8th grade class and she know all of the comics, games, and stuff. She was cool and didn't OVERDO it.
Well, my main thing is that SEGA needs to be careful about what character they create because they never know who weirdo is watching!
I really liked it when I was little, but when I look back at it now, it seems really cheesy. But I'm sure young Sonic fans will like it. Content-wise, there's nothing to really worry about. There is some fighting and violence, but it's expected since it's a superhero show. However, Sonic can be arrogant, and in one episode they were on a cruise ship (Sonic aquaphobia; fear of water), and he was so afraid of water so he selfishly lied to his friends to tell them things that would make them want to leave the boat. But that was just one episode.
